It's Been A Week?

I can't believe it has been a week since my last post.....terrible! It has been long days of gardening and playing in the sun, and once the kids are in bed, and all the plants have been watered, there doesn't seem to be any mojo to create any cards! However, I have finally made my weekly Christmas cards! This week Sparkle challenged us to use a sentiment as our main feature. Here's what I came up with!

I used Jen's SFYTT from last weekend, and went with my Basic Grey Eskimo Kisses paper, which is finally starting to dwindle!

That's all I've got tonight! Much too late for any more chatter!

Supplies
Stamps - AmyR Stamps
Paper - Pretty in Pink, Riding Hood Red, Whisper White, Purely Pomegranate, Basic Grey Eskimo Kisses
Other - Ribbon (SU!), Nestabilities, Brads, Buttons, Twine

And the Sun is Shining!

It has been absolutely incredible outside today! The sun is shining, and a light breeze is blowing. Needless to say, I haven't been inside a whole lot today!

I have a triple challenge today!

This is CookieBugg, a new release from Tiddly Inks Digitals. Isn't she adorable? The sketch for this card is the Mojo Monday Sketch #139 (which I LOVE!), the colours are based on Stacey's Curtain Call Colour Challenge Act #30, and the Tiddly Inks Challenge was to use NO DESIGNER PAPER! That was actually the hardest part, as I have become quite used to using all my hoarded DP!

The Curtain Call Colour Challenge was to use Basic Black, Kraft, Pumpkin Pie, Pink Pirouette and Whisper White. It isn't really obvious but I crumpled the Kraft cardstock to make it look a little distressed. Then I used staples to attach the ribbon to the panel.

Thanks for stopping by today! I am off to finish some supper and head back outside....maybe pitch a round of horseshoes with the hubby...if he is up for the challenge!

Enjoy the rest of your day!

Supplies
Stamps - CookieBugg (Tiddly Inks)
Paper - Pumpkin Pie, Basic Black, Pink Pirouette, Whisper White, Kraft
Other - Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folder, Nestabilities, Copics, Smooch Top Coat, Staples, Ribbon, Twine

Blast from the Past

Good Morning!

Today is the first EVER Taylored Expressions Blog Hop. The theme....Blast from the Past!

If you've just stopped by, and would like to hop through ALL the wonderful blogs, start here at Taylor's Blog. If you have come from Monika's Blog, you are right on track!

For my card, I chose Beary Special. This is one of the sets that totally got me hooked on Taylored Expressions! I stamped the image 3 times on Choice Snow White cardstock, then coloured the straps, bear, and pocket of the backpack with copics. The other was stamped onto October Afternoon Cherry Hill DP, then cut out. Then I sponged some Yellow Ochre chalk ink around the edges of the circle. I had started out with full intentions of using Sankari's sketch, but it wasn't working for me, so I had to make some changes!

I am so excited to be a part of this hop! I can't wait to hop through all the other blogs!

Your next stop is Candace.

Have a great day!

Supplies
Stamp - Beary Special (Taylored Expressions)
Paper - Choice Snow White, Riding Hood Red, Kiwi Kiss, October Afternoon Cherry Hill DP
Other - Nestabilities, Color Box Chalk Ink, Sponge, Copics, Groovy Guava Ribbon, Buttons

Another Week has Begun!

I wonder if it will go by as fast as the last!

Today I have my weekly Christmas card to share.

This is my card for Sparkle's Christmas Card Challenge #24. The challenge this week was to include snowmen in the card...and I've got 2! The image is Marshmallow Snowman from Bugaboo Stamps. The layout is Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch #69. I used the paper from My Mind's Eye Colourful Christmas again for this week's card.

Enjoy your Monday! It's sunny and gorgeous outside, so we're off to play!

The Sun is OUT!

If any of you reading this live in SW Ontario, and like me, have spent the last few days with gray, rainy, cold, windy, nasty weather, this sunshine is AMAZING! I will keep this post short, because when my little man wakes up, we are heading outside!

This is another adorable image from Bugaboo Stamps! The sketch is Taylor's TESC #112. I will definitely keep this sketch to use again!

I printed the image out onto Choice Snow White cardstock, and coloured it in with my copics. I decided to keep the look more "boyish" so I went with Pacific Point and Kraft as the main colours!

Enjoy your Friday! (and weekend!)

Supplies
Stamp - Bugaboo Stamps, sentiment is AmyR Stamps
Paper - Choice Snow White, Kraft, Pacific Point, Pacific Point DSP
Other - Bella Baubles, Nestabilities, Copics

Bugaboo Challenge Time

Happy Wednesday! Can you believe the week is already half over? The weather has been really cold and rainy here in SW Ontario, so there isn't much going outside and playing. It is supposed to get warmer this weekend, so here's to hoping the forecast is right!!

This is the card I created using Jen del Muro's SFYTT for the week, and the Catch the Bug Challenge, Flower Power. This little image is one of the Flower Bears, and I thought it would pair perfectly with the Brook paper collection by Crate Paper. I LOVE this paper! It is actually part of the Key Ingredients kit from Taylored Expressions from March.

I think that is it for today. I have 2 little children that decided to get out of bed prior to 6 AM this morning, so they are needless to say, ready for a nap!

Have a great day!

Supplies
Stamps - Flower Bear (Bugaboo Stamps)
Paper - Key Ingredients kit (March 2010)

Good Friday morning! This week has gone by so fast! I can't believe the weekend is almost here!

Down to business....with Friday comes Bellarific Friday!

This week's theme was May flowers. I didn't have my Mother's Day cards finished, so I brought out Lulu's Pot of Orchids for this card. The sketch is SCS278. As per the usual, the image was stamped onto Choice Snow White with Memento Tuxedo Black and then coloured with my copics. The paper is Raspberry Tart from Stampin' Up.

I hope everyone has a great weekend! I'll be out getting our acres of grass cut and weeding flower beds.

Only mothers..

of teenagers understand why animals eat their young! Isn't that the most perfect sentiment! Oh so true! I don't have teenagers, but I think that could be substituted for toddlers!

This is the card I made for my mom for Mother's Day. I think she will get a kick out of it!

The image (& sentiment) is a new Stella release from Bugaboo Stamps, one of my new favourite shopping stops! I printed her out onto Choice Snow White and coloured her in with my copics. The paper is Cosmo Cricket's Nutmeg, and the sketch for the card is the Mojo Monday Sketch #137.

Thanks for stopping by!

Supplies
Stamps - Bugaboo Stamps

Christmas Card Sunday

Another post for today! I managed to get my weekly Christmas cards finished while my little one was napping this morning. The challenge for Sparkle's Christmas Card Challenge was to use bows in our card this week. Well, I've got 2!

This is Puff & Stuff, from Whipper Snapper. Aren't they adorable? I just love their cute animal stamps. Puff was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Snow White, then coloured with copics. The sketch for this card was based on Jen del Muro's SFYTT (love her sketches!). The patterned paper is again SU's Ski Slope, one of my new favourites for my Christmas cards!

That should be it for today! I've got some weeding to get finished before the rain starts again!

Supplies
Stamps - Puff & Stuff (Whipper Snapper)
Paper - Chocolate Chip, Real Red, Choice Snow White, Whisper White, Ski Slope
Other - Ribbon, Copics

It's raining here in SW Ontario, so I'll be stamping....in between playing with the kiddos!
