Back again.....with a Christmas card! We've just finally starting getting some spring-like weather, so it seemed a bit odd making a Christmas card, but I'd rather start getting that pile higher now than in November!
I used the Reverse Confetti SFYTT #12 to make a CAS Christmas card:
I started with the Simple Stories Handmade Holiday paper pack, and set to work! The stamps are from the Tinsel N Trim set, and the dots on the kraft flag are from the Whole Lotta Dots set, all from Reverse Confetti!
Here's a look at the inside (kept it super CAS too!):

{VLV} Thinking of You
My card stash has gotten very low, so I'm in the process of getting it stocked back up again. A process that seems to take forever!
I came up with this "thinking of you" card using this week's Viva La Verve sketch:
I also even used the optional colour palette of Gray, Aqua and Yellow!
I started by pulling out another old My Mind's Eye paper pack, and getting to work, cutting out shapes using dies from Lil' Inkers, Verve, and MFT.
The sentiment is from the Treasured Words set, by Verve. This is one of my favourite sentiment sets, I LOVE the font combos! The butterfly is from the Blue Skies set.

{DS149} Mom...
Good Afternoon!
Just popping in here on the ol' neglected blog to share a card I've created for Mother's Day this weekend.
I absolutely LOVE Jen's Deconstructed Sketches, and finally got the chance to play along with it!
In trying to use up some DP I've got sitting around, I pulled out this old pack from My Mind's Eye.
I started by cutting out the flag using the Jumbo Fishtail Flag Die-Namics from MFT, and the small banners with the Fishtail Flags Die-Namics.
The "mom" sentiment was cut out using a die from Lil' Inker Designs, and the sentiment is from the coordinating set. The hearts were cut out using the Stitched Hearts die, also from Lil' Inker Designs.
Thanks for stopping by today! Enjoy!

{DS140} Celebrate!
So....here we are, into MARCH! Hopefully wherever you may be reading this, spring is closer than it is here! It's still supposed to be cold and snowy for a few more weeks here!
With the wintery weather, and mostly the nasty windchill, I've been able to stay inside and get a little crafty.
February was full of birthdays in our family. My middle son was born on the 1st, and our youngest was born on the 28th! Throw in both my birthday, DH's and the Olympics, and February was fairly full!
I usually start out looking for a great sketch when I'm sitting down to make a card. I came across this Deconstructed Sketch, and had to give it a try.
The colour palette was inspired by the ColourQ Challenge #230. I started by using my NEW dies from Lil' Inker. I LOVE these stitched dies, and they don't get put away often!
The tag was cut out using the Tag Me die from Reverse Confetti. I then stamped the circles, from Whole Lotta Dots (also by Reverse Confetti!) in Summer Starfruit ink. I added the stars (Lil' Inker) and the sentiment (also Lil' Inker), and the card was finished!
It's the first time I've ever tried a circular card. I'll definitely be trying it again!

{RS98} 5!
Good Morning!
It's FRIDAY! I'm getting all these cards caught up, and in the midst of getting parts of life back into routine!
This card I made for my middle son's birthday. I LOVE this sketch from Retro Sketches. It'll be a go to for me now!
I started by pulling out some DP that has been stashed away, Appleton by Scenic Route. I'm trying to get old paper cleared out before I purchase new stuff.....which will work until I see something I HAVE to have! (wink!)
The "happy" die is a new one from Simon Says Stamp, which I cut out twice with different colours.
The birthday stamp is from Everyday Circles by Neat & Tangled.
A peek at the inside:
That's all for today! Have a great day!

{DS137} 50!
Good evening!
I've successfully posted two days in a row.....I'm sure this trend won't last, but there's nothing wrong with good intentions!
I fully intended to make some cards and scrapbook tonight, but I've somehow managed to accomplish next to nothing!
Last week, a friend, mentor, and coworker celebrated her 50th birthday!
I started out with the Deconstructed Sketch #137, and set off to work! Again, I used the Doodlebug Designs Take Note paper (ahem, I accidentally bought 2 of them!).
The "50" was cut out using the Tall Numbers dies from Taylored Expressions.
Thanks for stopping by again today! Hopefully I'll be back again soon!

{VLV} Happy Birthday
Good Morning!
So, it's been A LONG TIME since I posted last! I've been a terrible blogger as of lately. But I'm hoping things have turned a corner for now, and I'll be able to be a good blogger for a while!
On to the good stuff.....
My DD had a birthday party this past weekend, and needed a card. I found this week's Viva La Verve sketch, and set to work!
I had already coloured up this adorable Wrynn (Eat More Cake), from Tiddly Inks Digitals. I then pulled everything else together using the Take Note paper pad by Doodlebug Design Co.
Thanks so much for stopping by today. Hopefully I'll have a new post tomorrow!
Supplies:
Stamps - Eat More Cake Wrynn (Tiddly Inks), Sentiment from Verve Stamps
Paper - Bazzil White, Basic Gray (SU!), Take Note (Doodlebug Design Co.)
Other - Copics, Heart Quartet Die (Verve), Nestabilities, Banner Bundle Die (Verve), Tall Numbers (Taylored Expressions), Fishtail Flags (MFT)

{DS126} Happy Birthday
I finally got a chance to sit down and get a card made….it feels like it's been forever!
I love a great sketch, and the Deconstructed Sketch is definitely a great place to start. Jen has awesome sketches!
This card was made for a friend, who needed one for her nephew's 4th Birthday. It had to be John Deere themed too! This excavator worked perfectly!
The number is a die from Paper Smooches, as is the sentiment. The excavator is from an old Stampin' Up set.
Short and sweet for me tonight….back to work!

My Last TPE Post
Good afternoon all!
As my title indicates, this is my last post as a DT Member of the Pink Elephant. I had such a great time working with all the TALENTED members of the DT. Now I'll just have to keep up with the challenges as a participant!
This week the challenge was wedding/anniversary.
Here's my page:
I just love how this page came together. It's from a kit called Homey Heart.

{DS119} Minnie and her Lights
Good Morning!
Fall has definitely arrived here in SW Ontario. There's a bit of frost on the ground, and it is time to break out the slippers in the house!
I've finally got to starting my christmas cards (a little late for me!) and thought that the latest Deconstructed Sketch was a perfect starting point.
I started out with Minnie's Christmas Lights, by Tiddly Inks Digitals. She was printed out, coloured, then cut out. I added some Smooch Glitter to the lights.
The paper is from the Winter Fun collection by Carta Bella.
Thats it from me today! Thanks for stopping by.
{TPE-218} Dots & Stripes
Good Morning!
Hope your week is off to a great start! It's cool, but sunny here...a welcome change from the end of last week!
This week the challenge at The Pink Elephant is Polka Dots & Stripes. Here's how I incorporated that into my project:
I pulled this page together using everything from the Painting Rainbows kit, by Fayette Designs. Lucky for me, the frame and border came in these lovely dots!

I'm Here!
Good Morning!
Let me tell you.....it feels so good to be getting back into a routine! Things are settling into place, and I'm finding more time to be creative!
A few weeks ago, I became an aunt again. My SIL and BIL welcomed a sweet little girl into the world. Poor thing's got two older brothers though!
As a gift, I made these:
I love how these cards turned out, and my SIL loved them too (which is even better!).
They are definitely a conglomerate of companies! The "i'm here" is from the I'm Here set, by Stampin' Up. It was one of the very first sets I ever purchased! It was stamped in Memento Black ink, then cut out using circle nestabilities. The onesie was cut out using the Onesie Die from Paper Smooches. The hearts were cut out in Bazzil white, and Strawberry Slush CS using the Of The Heart Dies from Lil' Inker Designs.
In the background, the Ink Splash, from Neat & Tangled was stamped using Strawberry Slush, Pretty in Pink and Crumb Cake. And finally, the flags were cut out using the Flag It Die set from Verve.
The DP is from Bundle of Joy by Echo Park.

{DS118} Happy Birthday
Good Afternoon!
The nice thing about fall is that once the kids get back into school, life settles back into routine. Yes, technically it's much busier, but it seems so much easier than the chaos (but fun!) that is summer.
I've finally been able to make some time for myself to actually make cards!
This is one I created for Jen's Deconstructed Sketch #118.
I had already coloured this sweet Anna Belle Birthday Wishes, from Tiddly Inks a while ago, but had never finished the card.
The papers are all from MME Lime Twist Life of the Party. The sentiment is from the Sentiment Sampler set, by Paper Smooches.
This is a sketch I'll definitely go back to. I LOVE the look of it!

Anything Digital!
Good afternoon!
Hope your week has started off great! The weather is getting chilly here, but at least the sun is shining! It's a far cry from this time last week, when it was tank tops and shorts!
The challenge this week at The Pink Elephant is to use digital papers, or a digital image. Since I'm a digital scrapper, this was an easy one!
Here's my page:
My youngest son has been able to dole out the "stink eye" almost since birth! I've been able to catch some of these looks on camera, which is priceless!
Fittingly, the kit I used for this page is called Mood Swings, by Fayette Designs.
Thanks for stopping by today.
Be sure to head over to The Pink Elephant Blog to see all the great work by the DT. And, while you are there check out the DT Call!

Smiles at the Beach
Good Morning!
It's September.....kids are in school (I've now got 2 of 3 in school!) and my life is starting to settle into routine. I've been able to re-appreciated being at home, and the amount I can accomplish in a day now!
With the start of a new week, is the start of a new challenge at the Pink Elephant. The challenge this week is a Nautical theme. After a summer spent at our trailer, near the shores of Lake Huron, I don't have a shortage of photos!
Here's what I came up with this week:
All items on this page are from the Some Beach collection, by Fayette Designs.

{TPE-212} Orange!
Good Morning!
This week's challenge from The Pink Elephant is brought to you by the colour orange!
Here's what I came up with:
I pulled elements from Fayette Designs Tangerine Dream for this page, as well as a wood background page. The sketch is based on an older sketch from Sketches in Time.
Thanks for stopping by today! Enjoy your day!

{TPE211} Texture
Good Morning! I hope you are all enjoying another great week!
This week, the challenge at The Pink Elephant was to use texture. You can't feel the texture on my page, but you can see it!
I used pieces from Jen C Designs, A Boy's Life to create all the textures on my page.
Short and sweet here.....back to the task of enjoying this sunshine before it's gone!
Have a great day!

{TPE209} Monochromatic
It's time for another challenge at The Pink Elephant! This week we were given the task of creating with a Monochromatic theme.
Here's what I created:
I went with a green colour scheme for my page, since I had just taken this picture of my youngest son, who cannot go long without his little plastic lawnmower at our trailer! It even worked that the onesie he was wearing was green too!
The layout is based on this great sketch from Sketches in Thyme! I love how quickly this page came together, and especially the final product!
All supplies used on this page are from the Mostly Moss kit, by Fayette Designs.
Thanks for stopping by today! Be sure to head over to the Pink Elephant Challenge Blog to see all the great submissions!

{TPE207} Woodgrain
Good Morning! This week totally got away from me! We are on holidays, and as per usual, I am late getting my post up.
This week the challenge at the Pink Elephant is to use Woodgrain. Here is what I came up with:
I went super simple with this page, letting the Woodgrain and the turquoise accents stick out.
The Woodgrain was a free download, and the accents are from the Aqua Mist kit by Fayette Designs.
That's all for today! Enjoy your day!

{TPE-206} Red, White & Blue
Good Morning!
It's another glorious summer day here...so this post will be a quick one!
With Independence Day getting closer for my friends to the south, the challenge at The Pink Elephant is another inspiration challenge:
Since our family photos a few years ago used the same colour palette, it was perfect for this page:
The sketch I followed is from Sketches in Thyme. If you are looking for some great scrapbooking sketches do head over to their blog. There are tons!
The supplies on this page are all from the Bluejeans & Daydreams kit, by Fayette Designs.
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Enjoy your day!
