TSG104 - Greetings Earthling!

I have been trying to play along with the There She Goes weekly challenges for such a long time, and I just never got around to getting one finished.....until TODAY!

This week the TSG Challenge was a sketch.  I LOVE a good sketch!  I started out by using the newer set, Out Of This World.  It just came in the mail (yesterday, actually!) so it was just waiting more me to ink it up!  I stamped the little monster, along with his planet perch onto Neenah paper, then coloured it in with my copics.  I cut him out using my circles nestabilities, then with the die still in place, I traced around the edges with a black marker.

The paper is from the Echo Park Little Boy collection.  I paired it with some Wild Wasabi and Night of Navy cardstock.

I kept the inside fairly simple, using more of the DP and added the stars and sentiment, also from the Out Of This World set.

Thanks for stopping by today!  Have a great weekend!

The Princess & her Frogs!

Good Morning!

Today, at Stamp Fairy, this adorable little princess is being released! Complete, with her frogs, of course!

I decided to make a little bit of a scene for our princess.  The papers are from the Echo Park Springtime line.  I printed out the princess and coloured her with my copics.  The frogs are actually just the frog she is holding, but I cut them out and coloured them separately.

A short and sweet post today!  I'm running a little late, and must get DD ready for school!

Have a great day!

Viva La Verve

I actually made it!  I got my four cards made for the Viva La Verve challenge for April!

This just might be one of my most favourite sketches, ever!  I just love it!  And, it was even better that Shannan was kind enough to give us a tutorial, on how she did it!  It was so helpful, especially the parts on arranging them first, and only gluing down the middle!

For my card, I used the new Bloom & Grow set, as well as the Floral Circles die and Elegant Leaves die.  I stamped the leaves with Old Olive ink, then cut them out using the die.  The flowers are just some of the DP cut out with the Floral Circles, stacked, then tied with a button and some Scrappers Floss.

The papers are from the Crate Paper Restoration line.  The sentiment is from the Blue Skies set.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Supplies
Stamps - Blue Skies (Verve), Bloom & Grow (Verve)

Handle with care

I'm a little late working on this TCP Tuesday #155 challenge, but I loved the sketch, and finally got a chance to play!

There seem to be a lot of babies being born right now, so I have been kind of in a baby card mode!

This (obviously!) is my little boy card!  I used the set Bear Hugs, a newer set from the Cat's Pajamas.  I stamped the bear in Memento Tuxedo Black onto SU Whisper White CS and coloured it in with my copics.  I then created a cloudy sky, using a cut out cloud and some Baja Breeze ink.  I used the TCP Grass Cut Up for the grass, and then mounted the bear on top!  The papers are from My Minds Eye Fine & Dandy True Blue collection.  To finish the card, I cut out hearts using the TCP Heart Trio Cut Up, then stamped the sentiment.

My girl card uses exactly the same stuff as my boy card, but the papers are from the MME Fine & Dandy Tickled Pink line!

Also, I know Jeanie was lookin' for some more entries for her That's Krafty Thursday #50 challenge.....so, at the last minute, I'll add these!  Obviously, I am adding them because I used LOTS of Kraft cardstock!

Thanks for stopping by!

Supplies
Stamps - Bear Hugs (TCP)
Paper - Kraft, Whisper White, Certainly Celery, Old Olive, MME True Blue & Tickled Pink
Other - TCP Grass Cut Ups, TCP Hearts Trio Cut Up

Princess of Quite a Lot!

I just LOVE that saying....and I think I may have had my DD say it to me once or twice!

And, I think it goes without saying that this little Lollipop Princess, by none other than Lori Boyd fits this sentiment perfectly!

I used paper from Echo Park Springtime, which worked perfectly with this week's colours in the By Lori Designs Colour Challenge #14

This little princess was printed out on SU Whisper White CS, coloured with copics, then cut out with my oval nestabilities.

The sketch I used is the Sweet Stop Sketch #105.  I did flip it on its side to make it work though!

My sentiment is computer generated, in Photoshop, using the FG Typical font. I then used my Modern Label Punch to punch it out.

That is it for today.  Time to get ready for the normal school day routine!

Thanks for stopping by!

Supplies
Stamps - Lollipop Princess (By Lore Designs)
Paper - Kraft, So Saffron, Soft Sky, Whisper White, Echo Park Springtime

Another Post Today...

I've got another card to share today....and it just can't wait until tomorrow!

This is the card I created for the Anita Be Stampin' Challenge #17, which was this awesome sketch! I found this adorable paper from Creative Imaginations, and thought it would work perfectly with Celebration Cooper.  I stamped Cooper with Memento Tuxedo Black onto SU Whisper White CS and colored her in with my copics.

I cut the sentiment out with my oval nestabilities and then cut Cooper out freehand.  Then I added some Clear Glaze to the balloon to give it some shine.

My sewing machine got some work on this one, stitching around all the panels....and it appears like it got a little angry near the end....I guess there were too many layers to sew through!

Well, that is definitely it for today!  Hopefully I'll get lots of colouring done tonight, and have a week's worth of posts! (HA!)

Thanks for stopping by!

Stamps - Celebration Cooper (Anita Be Stampin')

Birthday Wishes...

On Saturday, it was my mom's birthday, so we did a double celebration....a great Easter dinner, with birthday cake!

This is the card I made for her.

The sketch for this card is the Viva La Verve Week 3 sketch for April.  I started by using some more of my MME Stella & Rose Gertie papers, and paired it with the Amazing Wishes set from Verve.  The flower (my favourite in the set!) was stamped 3 times in Memento Tuxedo Black onto SU Whisper White and some of the DP.  I coloured 2 of them with my copics, then cut them all out.  The tag is the Sweet Scallop Tag stamp, then I cut it out using the Sweet Scallop Die

I added details to the card using my sewing machine, added some lace and tied my flowers with some Scrappers Floss.

Thanks for stopping by today!
