I finally got a chance to sit down and get a card made….it feels like it's been forever!
I love a great sketch, and the Deconstructed Sketch is definitely a great place to start. Jen has awesome sketches!
This card was made for a friend, who needed one for her nephew's 4th Birthday. It had to be John Deere themed too! This excavator worked perfectly!
The number is a die from Paper Smooches, as is the sentiment. The excavator is from an old Stampin' Up set.
Short and sweet for me tonight….back to work!

My Last TPE Post
Good afternoon all!
As my title indicates, this is my last post as a DT Member of the Pink Elephant. I had such a great time working with all the TALENTED members of the DT. Now I'll just have to keep up with the challenges as a participant!
This week the challenge was wedding/anniversary.
Here's my page:
I just love how this page came together. It's from a kit called Homey Heart.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

{DS119} Minnie and her Lights
Good Morning!
Fall has definitely arrived here in SW Ontario. There's a bit of frost on the ground, and it is time to break out the slippers in the house!
I've finally got to starting my christmas cards (a little late for me!) and thought that the latest Deconstructed Sketch was a perfect starting point.
I started out with Minnie's Christmas Lights, by Tiddly Inks Digitals. She was printed out, coloured, then cut out. I added some Smooch Glitter to the lights.
The paper is from the Winter Fun collection by Carta Bella.
Thats it from me today! Thanks for stopping by.
{TPE-218} Dots & Stripes
Good Morning!
Hope your week is off to a great start! It's cool, but sunny here...a welcome change from the end of last week!
This week the challenge at The Pink Elephant is Polka Dots & Stripes. Here's how I incorporated that into my project:
I pulled this page together using everything from the Painting Rainbows kit, by Fayette Designs. Lucky for me, the frame and border came in these lovely dots!

I'm Here!
Good Morning!
Let me tell you.....it feels so good to be getting back into a routine! Things are settling into place, and I'm finding more time to be creative!
A few weeks ago, I became an aunt again. My SIL and BIL welcomed a sweet little girl into the world. Poor thing's got two older brothers though!
As a gift, I made these:
I love how these cards turned out, and my SIL loved them too (which is even better!).
They are definitely a conglomerate of companies! The "i'm here" is from the I'm Here set, by Stampin' Up. It was one of the very first sets I ever purchased! It was stamped in Memento Black ink, then cut out using circle nestabilities. The onesie was cut out using the Onesie Die from Paper Smooches. The hearts were cut out in Bazzil white, and Strawberry Slush CS using the Of The Heart Dies from Lil' Inker Designs.
In the background, the Ink Splash, from Neat & Tangled was stamped using Strawberry Slush, Pretty in Pink and Crumb Cake. And finally, the flags were cut out using the Flag It Die set from Verve.
The DP is from Bundle of Joy by Echo Park.

{DS118} Happy Birthday
Good Afternoon!
The nice thing about fall is that once the kids get back into school, life settles back into routine. Yes, technically it's much busier, but it seems so much easier than the chaos (but fun!) that is summer.
I've finally been able to make some time for myself to actually make cards!
This is one I created for Jen's Deconstructed Sketch #118.
I had already coloured this sweet Anna Belle Birthday Wishes, from Tiddly Inks a while ago, but had never finished the card.
The papers are all from MME Lime Twist Life of the Party. The sentiment is from the Sentiment Sampler set, by Paper Smooches.
This is a sketch I'll definitely go back to. I LOVE the look of it!

Anything Digital!
Good afternoon!
Hope your week has started off great! The weather is getting chilly here, but at least the sun is shining! It's a far cry from this time last week, when it was tank tops and shorts!
The challenge this week at The Pink Elephant is to use digital papers, or a digital image. Since I'm a digital scrapper, this was an easy one!
Here's my page:
My youngest son has been able to dole out the "stink eye" almost since birth! I've been able to catch some of these looks on camera, which is priceless!
Fittingly, the kit I used for this page is called Mood Swings, by Fayette Designs.
Thanks for stopping by today.
Be sure to head over to The Pink Elephant Blog to see all the great work by the DT. And, while you are there check out the DT Call!
