Getting some Mojo...

This week's Mojo Monday sketch definitely got my mojo going! After making the Christmas cards with the sketch, I thought it would be perfect to make some birthday cards.

This is Avery Lollipop from Stamping Bella. I bought these adorable lollipops the moment they were released, and have only just now got around to using them! She was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Snow White, and coloured with my copics. The designer paper I used for all the cards is K & Company Wild Raspberry.

This is Hannah Lollipop! Everything else is the same as the previous card!

Last, but certainly not least, is Ella Lollipop.

Thanks for stopping by!

Supplies
Stamps - Lollipops (Stamping Bella)
Paper - K & Company Wild Raspberry, Regal Rose, Baja Breeze, So Saffron, Riding Hood Red, Lovely Lilac, Choice Snow White

Christmas Card Challenge

Usually I try to make 10 Christmas cards each month, in hopes that come December each year, I have enough cards to send out. Last year, I didn't do very well. and this year I made a goal to change that! I am following Sparkle's lead, and trying to make a few cards each week...giving more variety to my cards, and also building up my stash! I was all set to follow her challenge, but upon completion, realized that I hadn't incorporated any dry embossing! (oops!)Even though I didn't get the challenge right, I do like this card! I used the Mojo Monday sketch for this week, stamping the Choir by Stamping Bella onto Choice Snow White cardstock, then coloring it in with my copics. The paper is all from Eskimo Kisses by Basic Grey. Hopefully I will get a chance to play again this week, and actually complete the challenge!

Thanks for stopping by!

Supplies

Oh Drucilla...

Isn't she priceless? I just love these stamps from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps...and lucky enough for me, she is releasing a bunch of new stamps on the weekend!!

This is Drucilla, and I stamped her onto Choice Buttercream using Memento Tuxedo Black and then coloured her in with my copics. I used Kimmie's latest challenge (KKSC11), and paper pieced her dress using the My Mind's Eye Ooh La La paper, that is part of the December Key Ingredients kit from Taylored Expressions. The sketch is Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge #50.

Thanks for stopping by!

Happy New Year!

I can't believe it is 2010 already! This past year has just flown by...not to mention the holidays....where did Christmas go?

As holiday parties and other "non-routine" things start to slow down, it is nice to have things start to get back to normal. Hopefully this year I will make more time to stamp on a regular basis! I've also got a few other goals I would like to accomplish, but maybe I will save that for another post!

This card is for my girlfriend who celebrated her birthday on New Year's Eve. I started with Bessie Lulu from Stamping Bella. Then I used the Mojo Monday Sketch #119, and K & Company's Wild Raspberry designer paper.

Supplies
Stamps - Bessie Lulu (Stamping Bella); Paper - Very Vanilla, Baja Breeze, Kiwi Kiss, K&Company Wild Raspberry; Ribbon, Nestabilities, Copics
