{TPE-SC40} First Christmas

Good Morning!

Hope everyone had an amazing holiday, with good food, friends, family and lots of laughter!

I'm back with my scrapbook page for the Pink Elephant Challenge #40, which is a colour challenge.

It was an extra special holiday in our house....not only is it my DD's birthday on Christmas Day, but our youngest also had his first Christmas!

The supplies are all from the Jolly Holiday kit, by Fayette Designs.

I also noticed I completely forgot to post my TPE-SC39 page.  It was an awesome sketch, and this is what I created!  The supplies are from the Crazy 4 Cats kit, by Fayette Designs.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

{TPE-SC38} a little bit country

Good Evening!

I don't know about you, but this time of year sure gets hectic!  To top it off, I've gone from being just a SAHM to now having a full-time job, and a part-time job!  If I were to do it over, this really wouldn't have been the time to start this!

All that aside, I am so glad to be a part of this awesome Design Team, because no matter how busy things get, I still make sure to set a few minutes aside to get a page finished for our challenges.

This week, the challenge at The Pink Elephant is a colour challenge.
My colours aren't exactly like the swatch, but I think they are pretty close!

The supplies are all from the Fayette Designs kit, Pure Country.  If you haven't noticed, her kits are my absolute FAVOURITE to scrap with!

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Enjoy your weekend!

{TPE-SC37} 7 months!

Good Morning! Hope you are all enjoying a relaxing weekend!

We are en route to pick out the perfect Christmas Tree! Hopefully the weather turns out to be better.

I was fortunate enough to have been asked to join the Scrapbook Team at The Pink Elephant. Thanks Lori!! It has been awesome to have challenges each week to keep me scrappin', in hopes I'll someday have them up to date (wishful thinking right?).

This week, the challenge was a recipe. Use stitching, a large title and the colour green.

The supplies used on this page are from In Your Dreams by Fayette Designs.

{SSSC173} Happy Birthday

My sweet little niece just celebrated her first birthday last week.  Her birthday party was just on the weekend, and I had to use the latest Sweet Sunday Sketch from Karen!

I started by using this ADORABLE little cow, Moo-valous.  She was printed out onto X-Press It Blending Card, then coloured with copics.

The purple polka dot paper is Bazzill Basics Dotted Swiss.  The sentiment is from Treasured Words, by Verve Stamps.

{SSSC172} Happy Birthday

Good Afternoon!

It's cold and snowy here.....a perfect day to sit at the computer, getting crafty!

I made this card a few days ago for the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge #172.

I trying to use up the enormous stash of designer paper I seem to have hoarded.  This card uses paper from the We R Memory Keepers 72 & Sunny collection.

Super simple card, but love the look!

{SFYTT} Let It Snow!

Good Evening!

Can you believe it.....it's almost December!  Another month gone!

I have had this card finished for ages, and just haven't gotten around to getting it posted.  Since I only have today and tomorrow left, I figured I better get it done!

This is my card for the November SFYTT.   With the holiday season fast-approaching, I figured it was a good time to get started!

I pulled out some old Wintergreen DP, from Stampin' Up, and then set to work.

I used the Snowflake Die, Hearts Trio and the Jolly Holiday set, all of which are from The Cat's Pajamas.

Keeping this post short....bedtime for the little ones!

{TPE-SC34} Bouncin'

I hope all my US readers/friends are enjoying a wonderful Thanksgiving.  I also hope you are all enjoying the football too!  It's my favourite part of the day! (since we don't get the turkey!)

I've been trying to keep busy here in my craft room, so I'll hopefully be getting everything I've been working on posted in the next couple of days!

This week's challenge at The Pink Elephant was a recipe challenge - cardboard, journalling and circles.

Here is what I created:

My littlest man absolutely loves the Jolly Jumper (as did his older siblings!)  I thought this layout captured it perfectly!

The supplies are all from the Child of My Child - Boy kit, by Fayette Designs.

{TPE-SC33} Peek!

Wow!

Can you believe we are already half way through November?  It seems these shorter days are making them go by even quicker!  The holidays will be upon on soon!

Before I start off on the holidays, and christmas cards, and shopping, and baking....I did some scrappin'!

Yes, I could make some Christmas cards, I do actually have 6 or 7 here started....

Instead, the Pink Elephant posted a new Scrapbook Challenge, a sketch!  I played along!  Who can resist a good sketch!

Everything on this page is from the Blue Skies kit, by Fayette Designs.

Thanks for stopping by!  Hopefully I'll get some cards finished to share soon!!

{TPE-SC32} Leaves

Well, it's now November.....I really can't believe it!  I am enjoying the lack of outside chores though, it gives me more time to be crafty!

I know I've said it before, but I am so loving that The Pink Elephant has brought back their Scrapbook Challenges!  I am getting scrapbooking done, and maybe someday I'll be close to being caught up! (is there anyone out there that is caught up?  I ENVY YOU!)

This week the Scrapbook Challenge was a colour challenge - Yellow, Cream, Green & Brown.

These colours screamed a perfect fall layout for me, and I knew of the exact pictures!

The sketch for this layout is based on one found in Becky Fleck's November Pagemaps.  I love her sketches, and usually have a file or two open when I'm in Scrapbooking mode!

The supplies for this page are from the Totally Autumn kit, by Fayette Designs.

{SFYTT} Happy Happy Happy Birthday

Good afternoon!

I realized that today is the last day of October, and I had yet to finish a card for the October SFYTT.  At this point in the year, I certainly didn't want to ruin my chances of winning some goodies!

Luckily, speeding things up for me, I had some of this stuff laying out on my desk.  I was going to make a different card with it, but this turned out better than I had planned!

The presents are from Warmest Wishes, by There She Goes, and the die is also part of that set!  The sentiment is a Plain Jane stamp set from Verve Stamps.

All papers are from the Echo Park This & That collection.

Thanks for stopping by!  Happy Halloween!

{TPE-SC131} Toes!

Good afternoon!

I hope everyone is safe and sound after Sandy roared through.  We were fortunate enough to have no damage left in her path, just some branches scattered about.  It certainly was some strong winds blowing around though!

This crummy weather is perfect for keeping the kids inside and stealing a few minutes to do some scrapping!  I really wish I could steal more than a few minutes....

This week the Pink Elephant Scrapbook Challenge was a recipe challenge.  Three photos, buttons, and flowers!

My little man, as evident in the photos, found he had these two feet with all those toes to play with!  They kept him busy!

All the supplies used on this page are from the Cool Breeze collection by Fayette Designs.

{TPE-SC30} Inseparable

I am sooooo glad The Pink Elephant has started their weekly Scrapping Challenges again!

I started digital scrapbooking just over a year ago, and I LOVE IT!  So, these challenges might just help me start to get caught up on all the scrapping I have gotten so very far behind on! (who am I kidding, I'll NEVER get caught up!)

This colour combo really grew on me!  Especially once I went through my stash of Digi Kits, and found one that fit perfectly!

All the elements are from the Party Central kit.  It was a free with purchase kit from September when Pickleberrypop was celebrating their anniversary.

If you haven't checked out The Pink Elephant, make sure you head over there.  Since the Scrapbook Challenges have started back up, they are in search of a new DT!  For more details, click HERE.

A Day to Remember

Sorry, it's been awful quiet here again.  I really do have the best of intentions to get cards made and posted, but it just isn't happening.  Maybe once the snow flies (dare I say it!) I'll be spending more time here at my desk!

I actually had my card for the September SFYTT made a few weeks ago, but I never got around to getting it posted.

My parents had a wedding to attend, and my mom asked me to make them a card.  I had just got some new goodies from Verve Stamps in the mail, so they were the perfect choice!

I used the new set, Treasured Words and also the Rounded Rectangle die for the sentiment panel.  Other dies I used on this card are Leafy Sprigs, Floral Circles and the Flourished Trim die.

Challenge Complete!

With this.....I give you a completed challenge!  For the first time in what seems like forever, I have actually completed a challenge!  I adore my There She Goes stamps, and so wanted to get all the Birthday Celebration challenges completed.  Who could turn down a chance at winning $75 in TSG Stamps? (not me!)

The 5th Challenge was to create a card using at least 3 embellishments.  I used 1 ribbon and 4 brads!

After using the present from Warmest Wishes on my last card, I had to use it again.  I absolutely love how it turned out!

The sentiment is from Sentimental Birthday.

All the paper is from Echo Park Hello Summer.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Another Happy 60th!

A friend asked me to make a few cards for her, with two of them being 60th Birthday cards.  With all the celebrating happening over at There She Goes, it was perfect to join in on the fun with these cards!

The 4th Challenge was to use banners.  With all the banners out there, in paper form, or dies, this challenge was super easy!

I started by stamping the "Happy" and "60th", from Numbered Days, onto Kraft cardstock.  I then stamped the present, from Warmest Wishes, onto 2 different pieces of the designer paper, This & That by Echo Park.

The present was then cut out using the Warmest Wishes die.

The sketch is based on the Mojo Monday Sketch #258.

Happy 60th!

Good Morning!

I'm back with another There She Goes Challenge card.  This card is based on the TSG Inspiration Challenge.

This card didn't end up exactly as I had envisioned it, but I do still like the result!  I began by stamping the present, from Scent-sational, then colouring and cutting it out.  The numbers were stamped onto some Early Bird DP, cut out then mounted onto the white cs.

The sketch is Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch #167.

I still have a few cards to get made, so stay tuned....I'll maybe get all these challenges in!

Thanks for stopping by!

Supplies
Stamps - Scent-sational (There She Goes), Numbered Days (There She Goes), Sentimental Birthday (There She Goes)
Paper - Kraft, White, Early Bird (Cosmo Cricket)

For The Boys

Good Morning!

The second challenge for the There She Goes Birthday Challenges is creating a Masculine Birthday card.  This is the one I made for my brother!

I started by using the Oh Crop set, one of my favourites!  The images were all coloured with my copics, and cut out with my nestabilities.

The paper is from Cosmo Cricket.

Happy Birthday

Good Afternoon!

Did you know There She Goes Clear Stamps is celebrating 4 years in business?  Well, they are!  To celebrate they have been hosting challenges, with a chance at some fantastic prizes too!

Last week, each day was a different challenge, featuring a birthday theme.  It just happens I have a few cards that need to be made, so these challenges were the perfect starting point.

The first challenge is a Birthday Numbers Challenge.

My SIL is having a birthday soon (guess I can't hide her age!), and this is what I made for her!

I started with the Mojo Monday Sketch 257 as the layout for my card.  The numbers were stamped using the Numbered Days set, and the sentiment is from Sentimental Birthday.  The paper is from Echo Park Hello Summer.

Thanks for stopping by today!  I'll be busy getting all the cards finished for these challenges!

Happy Birthday

Good afternoon!

I can't believe it....tomorrow will be September.  The summer has just flown by!  It seems like my DD was just finishing school and we were looking forward to a summer of playing outside and at our trailer.  And now, its all over!

The summer has been absolutely crazy, and really the only stamping I have managed to get done is Jen's monthly Sketch For You To Try!  I don't want to miss out on my chance at winning the goodies at the end of the year!

Here is my August card!

I started by pulling my Hello Summer paper from Echo Park....funny, I'm using Hello Summer at the end!

All the stamps and dies are from Verve Stamps, August's sponsor!  Speaking of Verve, did you see their new release?  AMAZING!  I couldn't help adding some awesome goodies to my cart.....they are on their way to me!

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Here's to hoping the return of the school year will bring on some more creativity and card making time!

Skunk You!

I just HAD to have the Scent-sational set that was just released by There She Goes.  It was way too cut to pass up on!  Plus, you can use it to make just about any card!

I had to make a thank you for some friends, and I thought this was a perfect time to get this set all inky!

I hadn't had a chance to use the SFYTT for July yet, so that was an easy pick for my sketch!

The skunk was stamped on X-Press it Blending Card, coloured with copics, then cut out.  It was mounted on a circle cut out with my nestabilities.

The paper is My Mind's Eye Miss Caroline All Dolled Up.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  Enjoy your day!

Sneaking in....

with a last minute card for the June SFYTT!

I did already get one made, so this is just a bonus for me!

A few weeks ago (yes, I totally should have had this card posted sooner!), my DD had a birthday party for a friend who was turning 6.

Here is the card I made for her! (and DD approved, as there was sufficient glitter, pink and purple!)

I began with this adorable Puddle Jumper Ella Two, from By Lori Designs.  I printed her out onto X-Press It Blending card, then coloured her with my copics.  She was then cut out and popped up onto a circle of Echo Park Springtime paper.

The "6" and the sentiment are from the Numbered Days set from There She Goes Clear Stamps.  The 6 was coloured with copics, cut out, then given a good coat of Smooch Glitz.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  Enjoy your weekend!

Think Pink!

This week, the Tiddly Inks Challenge is to Think Pink!  With a young DD in the house, pink is pretty easy to come by!

I started out by printing out Tiny Dancer onto X-Press It Blending card.  I then coloured her in with my copics and cut her out.  The papers are Echo Park Springtime.

The sketch is Jen's SFYTT for June.  I love this sketch.  It's so easy to keep is CAS, or totally bling it out!

Sweet 16

Good Morning!

I can't get over how fast this summer seems to be going.  I really hope the rest slows down a bit...or it'll be gone before we know it.  We've been lucky with some great weather so far, so I haven't been inside much to get many cards made.  It's supposed to be a rainy one today though, so maybe I'll have a chance to make a card or two!

A good friend just recently celebrated her Sweet 16th Birthday.  This is the card I made for her.

It's funny how some cards can come together for you....  With this one, I had this adorable Wryn printed out and sitting on my desk.  This paper was also sitting out!  It seemed to go together perfectly!

This sketch is Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch #160.  I used an oval panel instead of the rectangle.

Wryn was coloured with my copics, and then cut out using my nestabilities.  The '16' is from Numbered Days, by There She Goes.  It was stamped, coloured then cut out and popped up on the panel.

Thanks for stopping by today!  Enjoy!

Mother's Day SFYTT

So....obviously I am a little late posting this, as Mother's Day was over a week ago.  I did, however, have the cards made for my Mom and Mom-In-Law on the actual day!

I started by using Jen's May SFYTT as the layout for my card.  The paper is actually some scraps I had sitting on my desk...there was just enough to make two cards!

The flowers are Verve Stamps Sunny Days.  I stamped the flowers and leaves, then coloured them with copies, and cut them out.  The buttons were stamped, then cut out as well.  The sentiment is another Verve set, Happy Phrases.

Thanks for stopping by today!

It's the Mother of All Blog Hops!

Good Morning!

I hope you are enjoying a wonderful Mother's Day weekend!  Ours is hopefully going to be filled with warm weather and sunshine!

This is the 3rd Annual Mother of All Blog Hops, sponsored by There She Goes stamps.  Over the next two days, we (customers and trendsetters!) will be featuring some of our favorite There She Goes Clear Stamp sets!  Not only that, we’re going to give YOU a chance to win some fabulous prizes!

For more information on HOW you can win, head over to the There She Goes Blog for all the details.

My card features a newer There She Goes stamp set, Numbered Days.

This is one of the most versatile sets you can own!  I love how the numbers can either be coloured (like I did!) or you can stamp solid ones!

As you may have guessed, I have a friend who will be celebrating her 40th birthday soon, and this is what I came up with.  I pulled out some Cosmo Cricket DeLovely papers, and went to work.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Have a great weekend!

Under the wire!

Good Morning!

I can't believe it has been over a month since I've posted here on my blog!  Adjusting to taking care of 3 little ones hasn't left me with much time to myself just yet!

I did manage to get a few minutes here and there over the past week to get my SFYTT card finished for April.  It's definitely one card I will make sure I get done each month!  Who wouldn't want a chance at the amazing prize at the end of the year!

Since we haven't been having the best of weather lately, I decided a summery card was definitely in store!  I pulled out Freeze the Moment, from There She Goes, and set to work. The ice cream was coloured with copics, then cut out using my nestabilities.

The paper is Summer Days by Echo Park.

This was such an easy sketch to work with!  I'll definitely be using this one again!

Thanks for stopping by!

Cupcake Inspiration

Good Morning!  Hope you are all enjoying your day!  We are in for a sunny, warm treat today and actually for the rest of the week, so it just might be spring on the way!

This week, Stamp Fairy is sponsoring the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge Blog.  If you haven't checked them out, head over there!  They have great inspiration photos!

The cupcakes this week had an Irish/St. Patrick's Day theme, so I went with a birthday card for my nephew, who will turn 1 on St. Patty's Day!

Again, I went with Herb St Patrick's Day as my image of choice.  I love Herb and his clovers!

The sketch I went with is Mojo Monday Sketch #219.  I love all the layers!

Herb was printed on X-Press It Blending card, then coloured with copics.  After cutting him out, he was mounted on a circle cut out with my nestabilities.

The paper is from Bloom & Grow by My Minds Eye.  This paper turned out to be perfect for St. Patty's Day themed cards!

The sentiment is from By The Numbers, from My Favorite Things.  The "1" was cut out using By the Numbers die-namics, also from My Favorite Things.

Thanks for stopping by today!  Enjoy!

Lots of Layers!

Good Morning!

This week, Stamp Fairy is sponsoring the Lots of Layers Challenge over at the Sweet Stampin' Blog!  Since St. Patty's Day is just around the corner, and my dad and nephew share that day as a birthday, I thought it would be perfect to get their birthday cards made.

This is what I created for my dad!

I started out by using an old Mojo Monday Sketch as my starting point.  Herb St Patrick's Day was printed out onto X-Press It Blending card, then coloured with copics.  He was then fussy cut out, and mounted on an oval, cut out with my nestabilities.

The paper is from My Minds Eye Bloom & Grow.  The sentiment is from Paper Smooches.

Another Wryn!

Good Afternoon!

As mentioned in my post yesterday, I am totally IN LOVE with Wryn, the newest character in the Tiddly Inks store.  Have you gone there yet??  You really should!

I used the MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge Sketch #60 as my starting point for this card:

This is Wryn - Grow A Little Love.  She was printed on X-Press It Blending card and coloured with copics.  After fussy cutting her out, I added some Smooch Illuminate to the hearts for some glitter.

The circles were cut out using my nestabilties, and the kraft circle was embossed with the Swirls Cuttlebug folder.  The sentiment, from So Happy For You, is a Stampin' Up set I believe I got through Sale-A-Bration a few years ago!

The paper, is again stuff from my stash that I am slowly cleaning out.  This is Sonoma by Scenic Route.  I love the combo of colours in this paper!

That is is for me today.  Thanks for stopping by!

I'm back!

Sorry for the blogging hiatus!  I am hopefully back into the swing of things now.

My DH and I welcomed a baby boy on February 28, so we've been busy getting adjusted to our larger, and complete family of 5!

If you haven't been to the Tiddly Inks store lately, I highly recommend it.  Christy has created Wryn, who is totally my new favourite image!  I love absolutely everything about her!

I created this card using the Sweet Sunday Sketch #153.  Thanks for the great sketches Karen!

I started by printing Wryn Birthday Girl onto X-Press It Blending card and colouring her with copics.  After fussy cutting her out, I added some Glossy Accents to the presents for some shine.

The paper is from my Echo Park Springtime stash, which I am starting to make a dent into!

That's it for today!  Time to get some supper made before little ones wake up!

Thanks for stopping by.

I Spy a Sketch!

Good Afternoon!

I have been trying to play along with the new I Spy Sketches since they started, but just got a chance today!  I love having a sketch to start a card with!

I started with a new (to me!) Paper Smooches stamp set, Party Posse.  I just love this little dinosaur!  He was stamped on X-Press It Blending card, then coloured with copics.  After cutting him out with my nestabilties, I added the hat, which was paper pieced.

This sketch is the ISS #3.  If you haven't checked out this blog, head over there!  There are great sketches, and amazing designers!

The papers are all from My Minds Eye Bloom & Grow.

Since I had a baby girl card yesterday, I would think it is only proper to follow with a baby boy card today!  After all, it never hurts to have a few of each sitting around!

SFYTT with Sparkle!

Good Morning!  It's a mild and icy one here today!  I lost all ambition to get groceries, so I'm cleaning my desk instead!

Jen's February SFYTT is another great one, and I wanted to make sure I got a card finished LONG before the end of the month.  I guess it isn't really long before it's the end of the month, but it's definitely better than I have been!

I decided to combine the Tiddly Inks Challenge #80 with this sketch.  This ADORABLE image is Baby Girl, from Tiddly Inks.  I absolutely love Christy's images, and will definitely be using them a lot more.

She was printed out on X-Press It Blending Card, then coloured with copics.  After "fussy cutting" her out, I added some Smooch Illuminate to the flower for some sparkle.

The paper is from the My Mind's Eye Dwell collection.

Just a note...

Good Morning!

A few days ago, I had a chance to sit and play with some of my stamps and dies that hadn't been used yet.

I love my Die-Namics from My Favorite Things, and when this Rainbow die-namic was released, I HAD to have it.  Now, I have used it!

I went with a super simple layout on this one, so the rainbow and sentiment would really stand out.  Before I forget, the sentiment is from Paper Smooches, called Sentiment Sampler.  If you haven't checked out all the awesome stamp sets at Paper Smooches.....PLEASE GO!  You'll definitely be glad you did!

Since there is an abundance of kraft cardstock on this one, and it's been a while, Ill throw this into Jeanie's That's Krafty Thursday #58 challenge!

That's pretty much it for this card!  No colouring, or paper-piecing!  Just some great die-cuts and a perfect sentiment!

Thanks for stopping by today!

supplies
stamps - sentiment sampler (paper smooches)
paper - kraft, whisper white, real red, tangerine tango, daffodil delight, wild wasabi, bashful blue, night of navy, elegant eggplant

Paperplay Challenge

Good Morning - I can't believe it is Thursday already....this has been a crazy week!

Today, Stamp Fairy is sponsoring the Paperplay Challenge Blog.  The challenge this week is Love Letters.  This doesn't necessarily mean Valentine's themed, but that was the direction all my cards have been going lately, so I stuck with it!

I went with an older Mojo Monday sketch on this one, Sketch #224.  Again all the papers are from the Your Truly collection by Echo Park.  My image is actually a Freebie at the Stamp Fairy store, Barry!  He was printed out onto SU Whisper White cs, then coloured in with my copics.  I added some Smooch Illuminate to the heart, and some glossy accents for his nose.

To finish off the card I added a few white brads from American crafts.

Thanks for stopping by today!

supplies
stamps - barry love (stamp fairy)
paper - kraft, basic black, whisper white, yours truly (echo park)
other - copics, nestabilities, smooch illuminate, glossy accents, brads (american crafts)

Lots of Love

Good Morning!

Today, Stamp Fairy is sponsoring the Creative Inspirations Challenge, which is Lots of Love.  There are so many Valentine's themed challenges out there....if you're looking for something to get your mojo working, there's lots out there!

I started out by printing Barry Love onto some X-Press It Blending card, then coloured him in with my copics.  After cutting him out with my nestabilities, I added some Smooch Illuminate to his heart, and some doodling around the edges of the circle.

Since it had been sitting out on my desk, I went with Echo Park Yours Truly for my papers.  I added a few brads, and that's it!

Thanks for stopping by today!

supplies

paper - kraft, basic black, your truly (echo park)

Bear Hugs & Kisses

Happy Tuesday!

I made this card last week in hopes of getting it up before the SFYTT deadline, but my internet had some "issues", and alas, here I am posting it now.

This sweet bear is one of my FAVOURITE characters at TCP!  I stamped Big Bear from Bear Hugs onto X-Press It Blending Card, and coloured him in with my copics.  I stamped him again onto a piece of paper from my Echo Park Yours Truly pad, and cut out the heart.

The hearts were cut out using the TCP Hearts Trio Cut-Ups, and the sentiment was stamped on a piece of kraft cardstock, and then cut out using the First Place Award die-namic from My Favorite Things.

On the inside of the card I used more of the hearts, and also the sentiment again, cut out with the Heart Trio Cut-Ups.

Thanks for stopping by today!  Have a great day!

TE Sketch Challenges are back!

Good Morning!

I am so happy that the Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenges are back for 2012!  They are great sketches, and it makes sure that some of my awesome TE Stamps get the lovin' they so deserve!

My little man celebrated his 3rd birthday on Wednesday.  Being a true FARM BOY, this card suits him perfectly!

This Green Acres stamp set is probably one of my favourites.  I love everything about it!  Being a farm girl, this set is just perfect for me too....so I should love it!

I began by stamping the barn and tractor onto SU Whisper White cs, then colored them in with my copics.  After cutting them out, I added some Glossy Accents to the tractor to make it shiny!

The grass was cut out using my Grass Cut-Ups from The Cat's Pajamas, and my cloud is the Flat Bottom Cloud Die-namic from My Favorite Things.

The papers are Cosmo Cricket's Garden Variety.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  Have a great day!

Fab N Funky

Good evening!

Today is the first day in a while that I have been able to access the internet on my computer....not the phone!  I was able to get access just in time!

Today, Stamp Fairy is sponsoring the Fab N Funky Challenge this week.  The challenge this week is to use a digi image! (sure isn't tricky with a folder full of Stamp Fairy digis!)

I started with Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch #150 as my inspiration.  It's always so much easier to sit down to make a card with a great sketch!

My image is from the Aliens collection.  I am trying desperately to give all my stamps some love!  I printed it out onto SU Whisper White cs, then coloured it in with my copics.  After cutting it out with my circle nestabilities, I added some Glossy Accents to the flame and the spaceship window.

The papers are from the Bo Bunny Blast Off collection.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Ribbons & Buttons

Good Morning!  I'm a little late getting this post up, as this challenge went live yesterday, but better late than never!

Stamp Fairy has sponsored the Penny's Paper Crafty Challenge #71 this week, which is to use Ribbons & Buttons!

I decided I wanted to make a boy birthday card using this challenge, so I went with papers from the Bo Bunny Blast Off collection.

My image is Patches of course!  He was printed on X-Press It Blending card, then coloured with copics.  I then cut him out using my square nestabilities, then doodled around the edges.

The layout for this card is based on the Sweet Stop Sketch #141.  My buttons were all cut out using the Button Quartet Die-namic from My Favorite Things.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Double Challenge!

Good Morning!  Hope you are all enjoying a great weekend!  It's a great weekend here, because there is LOTS of football on!  And, it's playoff football, so it's even better!

I managed to get some crafting time in before the football started yesterday, and created a card for 2 challenges!

I started off with Jen's Deconstructed Sketch #34.  This is another great sketch!  If you haven't checked out Jen's Blog before, head over there....she is incredibly talented, and her sketches are awesome!

I was also checking out some of my FAVOURITE blogs, and noticed that By Lori Designs Challenge Blog was up and running again this year!  YAY!!  I love Lori's images, and her challenges are awesome too! The BLD Challenge #22 is a colour challenge:

I started by printing out Puddle Jumper Harper onto some X-Press It Blending card, and then colouring her with my copics.  I added some stickles to her necklace, and the polka dots on her skirt.

The paper is from my stash, Hoopla-Hysteria by We R Memory Keepers.  I thought it matched the challenge colours pretty well!

Thanks for stopping by today!
