New Week....New Christmas Cards!

It really does seem like I just sent them out....even though it is almost February!

The "B" challenge over at the ABC Christmas Challenge blog was to create a Black & White card.  The sponsor for the challenge is Doodle Dragon Studios!

I printed out this adorable little Polar Bear and Penguin, called Gift Wrapped,  onto SU Whisper White cardstock, then colored them in with my copics.  After cutting them out with my rectangle nestabilities, I drew around the edges with my copic multiliner.  The sketch is Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch #102. The paper is from my Making Memories Black & White pack.

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a great day!

Release Day Friday!

It's Friday....already....which is release day at Stamp Fairy!  This week, Gerda has designed some adorable little bunnies for Easter.  This is Clementine:
I printed Clementine onto SU Whisper White cardstock, and colored her in with my copics.  The colors for this card I used based on the amazing striped digi papers Gerda has also just released!  I thought purples would go great with an Easter card!

The layout is the Mojo Monday #175 sketch.  I LOVE how this sketch turned out with this card....I'll have to make a few more!

I added some stitching, brads and ribbon, and that's it!

Have a great weekend!

I finally finished my card for the Viva la Verve week 2 sketch!  I realized I didn't have any brown buttons in my stash, so I had to find some!

Lucky for me, my LSS had a nice selection, so I was set!  For my card, I used the Vintage Oval Frame stamp, as well as the Vintage Oval Die.  The flowers and sentiment are from the Amazing Wishes set.

The papers are from my August 2010 Key Ingredients kit from Taylored Expressions.  The DP is Echo Park - Walk in the Park.

That's it for today! Thanks for stopping by!

I am so loving all these incredible (and ADORABLE!) images from Stamp Fairy!

This is Lenny, and he just might be in love!  I can't believe how much I am loving these digi images.  You get them RIGHT away, so there's no waiting for shipping, and you can make them any size you want!

I decided to go simple with my layout for this card, as I wanted Lenny to really stick out!  The paper is an SU Rose Red Designers Series pack.  I printed Lenny out onto some SU Whisper White cardstock, and colored him with my copics.  I cut him out and layered him onto a circle I cut out with my nestabilities.  I added some brads, and some ribbon!

Bellarific Friday...just on Saturday!

Good morning!

I didn't get my Bellarific Friday card posted yesterday, so here it is today!

This is Charlie, a Green Bean Baby!  Charlie is also a stamp I have had for a LONG time, and he has never seen ink!  So, that means this card works for Jessie's Forgotten Stamp Friday #6!  I am so glad she has started this little challenge...it will definitely help me get to one of my goals this year (it was last year too!), which is to use all stamps that haven't been used or haven't been used in a long time!

Charlie was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black, and colored with copics.  I added some Clear Glaze to the pail to make things shiny!

The paper is from my new Echo Park Little Boy collection (LOVE that paper!)

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a great weekend!

Supplies
Stamps - Charlie (Stamping Bella)
Paper - Crumb Cake, Not Quite Navy, Whisper White, Echo Park Little Boy

It's Friday!

I can't believe it is already Friday!  This week has gone by so fast!

With Friday....comes relase day!  Stamp Fairy has another ADORABLE release today!

Meet Donny Honeybear, a little bear that is as sweet as honey!  I absolutely ADORE this image!  I think he is the cutest little bear!  For my card, I started by printing Donny out onto some SU Whisper White cardstock, then colored him in with my copics.  I cut him out with my circle nestabilities, then added a little clear glaze to the honey, and some Moonlight Smooch to his wings.

I kept the layout super simple, mostly because I wanted the image to really stand out!  That, and I found this DP in my stash that works perfectly!  It is Nikki Sivils Willow Bee.

Be sure to check out some of Gerda's new releases!  They are surely to make a great addition to your digi stamp collection!

Have a great Friday!

Birthday Party anyone?

Good morning!  I hope everyone is having a great week!

Today, I don't have a card to share, but an invitation for my son's birthday party.

These adorable little images are Bobbleheads from Bugaboo Stamps.  I couldn't resist them when they were released!  They were printed out onto SU Whisper White cardstock, and colored with copics.  Everything else is pretty obvious!  I printed all the details out on my computer, and mounted the invitations onto some SU Real Red and SU Sahara Sand with staples.

That's it for today!  Short and sweet!  I'll be back tomorrow with a SUPER CUTE new release from Stamp Fairy!

SFYTT - Go Forth & Eat Cake!

I finally got myself around to making this card for Jen del Muro's SFYTT. She has changed things up a little, and is doing a monthly sketch. This month the sketch is sponsored by The Cat's Pajamas!  So, make sure you get your cards in....cuz there's a handy little gift card that could come your way!  Also, if you play along in all of Jen's sketches for the year, you can be entered to win a prize with over $200 in stamping goodness!  If that isn't enough incentive to play, I don't know what is!

This is the cutest bunny in the world!  I LOVE these bunnies from TCP, and have most of them in my stampin' arsenal!  This one is called Forget About the Cake.  I stamped him with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto SU Whisper White cardstock, then colored him with my copics.  I used some Moonlight Smooch to give the icing a little detail.

The paper is Basic Grey Marjolaine.  For the sentiment, I used my MFT Rounded Banner Trio Die-namic then cut the sentiment out and placed it on top.  I added some SU brads and some SU Kiwi Kiss striped ribbon, and there you have it!

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a great day!

Supplies
Stamps - Forget About the Cake (The Cat's Pajamas)
Paper - SU! Whisper White, Kiwi Kiss, Baja Breeze, Basic Grey Marjolaine

It's Time for Christmas Cards!

I know, I know....Christmas just ended.  I just took down my Christmas tree, and I mourned that by making my first Christmas cards of 2011!  Sparkle's Christmas Card Challenge this week was to use snowmen in our creations:

This is Mr Snowman, a digital image from Digistampcharacters by Heather Ellis.  I just LOVE this adorable snowman!  I printed him out onto Whisper White cardstock, then colored him in with my copics.  I put a few coats of clear glaze on the heart to make it shine.  This awesome sketch is Mercy's LAST Tuesday sketch challenge.  Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to play along while she was still creating these sketches, but I went and downloaded ALL of them, so I can go back and use them!

I cut Mr Snowman out using my Square Nestabilities, then pierced around the edges.  The DP used on this card is from Crate Paper Snow Day.  This is one of my favourite Christmas papers.  I love the non-traditional colours in it!

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a great Monday!

Supplies
Stamps - Mr Snowman (Digitalstampcharacters)
Paper - Crumb Cake, Whisper White, Taken with Teal, Cherry Cobbler, Always Artichoke, Crate Paper Snow Day
Other - Brads, Copics, Ribbon, MFT Open Scallop Die-namic, Nestabilities

Can you believe it?

I've got another card finished this week!  Maybe typing out a goal to post more often is really a good idea!

This is Gracie Lollipop, and sadly, I don't think she has ever (gasp!) been inked!  So, this card will work PERFECTLY for Jessie Rone's Forgotten Stamp Friday #5!  What a great idea that is.....I have WAY TOO MANY stamps that either haven't seen ink, or haven't seen it in a long time!

This card was originally designed for By Lori Design's FIRST challenge...which is a color challenge!

Gracie was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black onto SU! Whisper White CS, and coloured with copics.  I paper pieced her dress with the DP which is October Afternoon Ducks in a Row.

Then I cut her out using my Oval Nestabilities, and using Jessie's technique, I pierced the edges around the oval.  I LOVE how this looks, and will definitely be using this more!  Also, I totally stole her idea of using the spiral clip with some ribbon!  Thanks Jessie!  I'll be using that more often too!

Since I used Kraft cardstock as my base, this little gem fits Jeanie's That's Krafty Thursday #45 challenge too!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Supplies
Stamps - Gracie Lollipop (By Lori Designs)
Paper - Crumb Cake, Whisper White, Basic Black, Regal Rose, October Afternoon Ducks in a Row
Other - Spiral Clip (SU!), Nestabilities, Copics, Sewing Machine

Good Morning!  It's Friday, and that means another release from Stamp Fairy!

Today these sweet little Mermaids are being released!  I printed her out on SU Whisper White CS, then colored her in with my copics.

For the layout I used this week's Mojo Monday #172 sketch, and paired that with some Cosmo Cricket DeLovely paper.  I was really unsure about this card as I started working on it, but after finishing it, it turns out I kinda like it!

Be sure to head to the Stamp Fairy shop, to pick up the newest additions, and get yourself some Freebies!

Have a great Friday!

Viva la Verve - Challenge 1

Happy Thursday!  I can't believe I am actually posting again this week.....it might be a record!  (and I have a post for tomorrow too!)

This is my creation for the first Viva la Verve sketch for January.  I wasn't sure how this would turn out, seeing that the card is HUGE! Well, really it's only 4 x 9.25".  I am really happy with the result, and I even have another card in the works to try it out again!

I used the set Blue Skies, one of the first sets I bought from Verve.  I just fell in LOVE with this butterfly!  I stamped the butterfly and the sentiment onto SU Whisper White CS.  I cut the sentiment out with my nestabilities, and then sponged the edges with Antique Linen Distress Ink.  The butterfly was coloured with copics, and cut out with scissors.

The papers are from Basic Grey Marjolaine, and the brads, which are hard to see in the photo are also from the Marjolaine collection.

That's it for today!  Time to get some cleaning done....and maybe colour up another card!

Supplies
Stamps - Blue Skies (Verve Stamps)
Paper - Whisper White, Always Artichoke, Basic Grey Marjolaine
Other - Nestabilities, Copics, Sewing Machine

I used sweet lil' Maisie Lollipop.  She was printed out on SU Whisper White CS, and coloured with copics.  I cut her out with my rectangle nestabilities, then with the die still in place, I traced around the edge with my Copic Multiliner pen.  The paper I used in this card is Cosmo Cricket DeLovely.

Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Monday!  Welcome back normal routine, and much less (and healthier) food!  I hope you all had a relaxing and enjoyable holiday season!

Today, Stamp Fairy is having a Blog Hop to introduce all the new members to the Design Team.  I am so excited to be a part of this team of amazingly creative ladies!

If you have come here from Deanne's blog, you are right on track.  If not, you will want to head back to the Stamp Fairy Challenge Blog to get started.

To make things more fun for everyone participating, we have hidden a few prizes along the way!  So, with that incentive, please join us as we welcome all the new Design Team members!

In order to qualify for the prizes, here's what to do:
1.  Become a follower of the Stamp Fairy Challenge Blog
2.  Leave a comment on each of the Design Team's Blogs
3.  Participate in this week's challenge using a Stamp Fairy image! (check the Freebie section for some great images!)

This week's challenge is Celebrate with a Colour Explosion.  It is also a recipe challenge to use 2 Design Papers, 3 Embellishments and LOTS of colour!

This little critter is a Monster Under my Bed!  As soon as I saw him in the shop, I knew he was going to be in my card for today!  I started by printing him out three times on some Neenah cardstock, and coloured him in with my copics.  On the first copy, I cut out his entire body, the second just his body, and the third, just his eyes.  Then I layered them all with my dimensionals.  You can see a close up below!

The designer paper I used is American Crafts Road Trip.  The embellishments are ribbon, buttons and brads.  The sketch for this card is Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch #98.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Your next stop on the hop is Lisa's blog.

Happy New Year!

Happy 2011!  I can't believe that we are already starting a fresh new year.  I don't know about you, but I am not one for making resolutions.  I am a yearly goal setter....and I try to make realistic goals, that way at the end of the year it isn't so disappointing!

Maybe one of my goals this year would be to post on my blog more often....

I guess this would be making a good start!

This is Cowboy McCoy, a Puddle Jumper (designed by Lori Boyd) from Claudia & Company.  I am a HUGE fan of Lori's stamps....I am pretty sure I own ALL of the Puddle Jumpers, and most of the Lollipops too!

But back to the card!  This card has been designed based on the Claudia & Company Monthly Challenge #7, which was to use the spotlighting technique.  Obviously, I chose to spotlight McCoy's adorable face and his noble steed!  I stamped McCoy onto some Very Vanilla CS and colored him in with my copics.  I stamped McCoy again on some Very Vanilla and cut him out with rectangle nestabilities, then sponged the edges with some ColorBox Chalk ink.  The DP is Cosmo Cricket Wanted, and to finish the card off I used some Hemp Twine and a few Chocolate Marble Bella Dots.

Thanks for stopping by!

Supplies
Stamps - Cowboy McCoy (Claudia & Company)
Paper - Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla, Cosmo Cricket Wanted
Other - Hemp Twine, Copics, Nestabilities, Bella Dots
