Thanks a bunch!

Well, it is officially the start of summer holidays here....so far so good!  I think it's 67 more sleeps until school starts again.  No, I didn't actually count the days, I noticed a friend had, and I'm just trusting her!

This is a card I made for my DD's ECE at school.  She loved her, and she'll definitely miss her over the summer!

The sketch is the June Week 3 Viva La Verve Sketch Challenge.  I started by using some of my MME Stella & Rose Mabel paper that was sitting out on my desk.  I am getting down to just a few sheets left of each!  I stamped the sentiment, from Bloom & Grow, onto some of the DP, then cut it out with my nestabililites.  The flower was cut out using the Floral Circles die, then mounted with a button from my stash and some Scrapper's Floss.

This is a quick one today...getting things ready for a long weekend!

Supplies
Stamps - Bloom & Grow (Verve)
Paper - Kraft, Early Espresso, MME Stella & Rose Mabel
Other - Nestabilities, Buttons, Scrapper's Floss, MFT Little Open Scallop Die-namic

A Verve-y Happy Anniversary!

A few weeks ago, a friend asked me to make her an Anniversary card for her in-laws.  It worked great, because I had been hoping to play along with the Viva La Verve June Week 2 challenge!

I have been trying to get all my MME Stella & Rose collections used up before cracking into my new Lime Twist papers!  I am getting close, but they are starting to burn a hole in my desk!

I used both of the hearts from the Text Objects set, stamping them on different papers from the MME Stella & Rose Gertie collection, then cutting them out.  They were mounted onto an oval cut out with my nestabilities.

The sentiment is from Stamping Bella.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Stamps - Text Objects (Verve), sentiment (Stamping Bella)

Snail Mail!

Good Morning!  It's Friday!

Today, as is every Friday, is release day from Stamp Fairy!

I started off using the AWESOME June SFYTT from Jen del Muro.  If you haven't got yours done yet, it isn't too late!

I printed the snail out onto SU Whisper White CS, then colored it in with my copics.  I added some shading, then cut it out with my circle nestabilities.  The paper is all from the Cosmo Cricket DeLovely collection.  LOVE their bright colours!  I then added some brads and Melon Mambo Polka Dot ribbon to finish it off!

Make sure you pop over to the Stamp Fairy Blog to see all the other DT creations!

Thanks for stopping by today!  Have a great Friday!

More Father's Day...Finally!

So, I meant to post my other Father's Day card yesterday, but Blogger chose to not allow me to upload my photo, which would make a blog post pointless!

Here's to hoping it works today!

This was the card I made for both my dad and my FIL.  I used the sketch from Viva La Verve June Week 2 for this one.

I started by stamping the leaves, from Bloom & Grow,  in Old Olive ink, then cutting them out using the Elegant Leaves Die.  Then I stamped the heart, from Love Notes, onto some MME Stella & Rose Hattie DP.  It was then cut out using the Jotted Heart Die.  The sentiment is from the Happy Phrases set.

I kept the background simple, using just some Kraft.  Then, I added a strip of Early Espresso and Night of Navy CS, then the plaid panels from MME Stella & Rose Hattie.  To finish, I added a button, tying it with some Karen Foster Scrapper's Floss.

Thanks for stopping by!

Love You Dad!

Good Morning!

I have really been a terrible blogger as of lately!  My posts seem to be dwindling, and as for commenting, I definitely need to get some of that done!

Luckily, I was organized enough to get some Father's Day cards made in good time last week, and made this one for my DH.

I used the Mojo Monday Sketch #195 for this card.  To start, I cut out a few circles, and scalloped circles using my nestabilities.  Then, I spelled the word "dad" some Thickers, in Jewelery Box.  I added the "Love You" sentiment, which is Happy Phrases, from Verve Stamps.  I used my MFT Little Open Scallop Die-namic, and added a button and some twine, and that's it!

The papers are all part of the MME Stella & Rose Hattie collection.

Be sure to come back tomorrow, I'll make sure I post my Father's Day card I made for my dad!

Stamps - Happy Phrases (Verve)

Pirates...

Well, I can't believe I have been such a slacker....it has been a week since I posted!  This summer weather is keeping me outside, and not getting much stamping done.

This week, the release at Stamp Fairy is some Pirates!

I started by using the Deconstructed Sketch #6, as my starting point.  The pirate was printed out on SU Whisper White cs, then coloured with copics.  I cut him out, and then mounted him on my panel of strips from the Echo Park Little Boy collection.

The sentiment was created in Photoshop, and the twine is from Jillibean Soup.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Peeking...

It's Friday, again....already!  I can't believe how these weeks are just slipping by.  I am not sure where the time goes.

Today, Stamp Fairy has these adorable little kids peeking available for you!

I thought I would use this cutie to add to my birthday card stash!  I printed her out onto SU Whisper White cs, then coloured her in with my copics.  Then, I cut her out, and mounted her onto a rectangle stamped with my sentiment, which is part of a Sentiment Sampler from Paper Smooches.

The sketch for this card is the Sweet Stop sketch #111.  I love this sketch!  I'll be using it again for sure!

The paper is from my Cosmo Cricket DeLovely pack.

Thanks for stopping by today!

ABC Christmas

Well, it certainly doesn't seem anything like Christmas right now.....in fact, the exact opposite!  We are having a hot, sunny and humid day.  I am not complaining though....I'll just not stay outside for too long!

The challenge this week at the ABC Christmas Challenge is Love, and to use the colours green, silver and red.

I went with my favourite, Lenny!  He is actually a Valentine's image, but not today!  He was printed out on SU Whisper White, and then coloured with copics.  I paper pieced the heart with some Dashing DP, from SU.

My sketch is pretty simple, I just wanted Lenny to really stand out!  I stamped the sentiment, from SU, in Memento Tuxedo Black, added some red satin ribbon and some silver brads!

Thanks for stopping by today!  Enjoy the heat!

Supplies
Stamps - Lenny Love (Stamp Fairy), Four the Holidays (Stampin Up!)

New Release Friday!

Wow!  Another week is done....it's Friday!  The sun is shining, and the birds are chirping!  I so love waking up in the morning hearing all the wildlife outside chatting away!

Any ways, enough of the rambling on, today Gerda has released some ADORABLE Lenny images.

Lenny has gorgeous fruit on the mind this week!  I think Lenny is my most favourite bear to colour.  I just love him!

I started out going through all my sketches this week, to find the perfect one for Lenny.  I found this great sketch from Splitcoast, SC335, and I'll definitely be using it again!  It is a perfect way to use up some scraps of DP.

Lenny was printed out on SU Whisper White cs, and colored with copics.  I added a few coats of Clear Glaze to the peach, and then cut him out.  The papers are from the MME Stella & Rose Mabel line.  I am going to make a REAL effort to use up the paper I have before I go and get more.....which is so hard, but I have so much paper, just sitting unused....so it's time to make some cards with it! (we'll see how long I can keep this up!)

I drew in a border with a Sharpie, then added some Copper Brads to finish the card off.

Here are the rest of the Lenny images being released today:
I know I'll be adding some of these to my files today!  Be sure to check out the rest of the Stamp Fairy DT's work!

That's it for me today!  Have a great day!
