It's Been A While...

I have been somewhat absent over the last few weeks with the craziness of the holidays. I am taking a quick break from my post-holiday cleaning to put up this cute card!

I made this card before the holidays, but never got a chance to get it uploaded. I started with the Mojo Monday 117 sketch. Then I stamped Jackson the Champion from Stamping Bella onto Choice Buttercream paper with Memento Tuxedo Black, then colored him in with my copics. I used Basic Gray and Garden Green for my colours, and used the Patterns Pack paper from SU! as the patterned paper in the card.

Hopefully I'll be posting a little more often now!

Thanks for stopping by!

An'Udder Birthday??

The idea for this card came to me late late late the other night, as I was trying to finish the card order I was working on. It is probably one of my most favourite cards ever!

The stamp set is called An'Udder Birthday from TAC. I stamped it onto Choice Snow White, then coloured it in with my copics. I wanted the image to be the main feature, so I kept everything else pretty simple. I used Kraft, Black and Yellow as my colours, and the yellow panel was embossed with my Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folder.

Thanks for stopping by! Hope you enjoy it!

Supplies
Stamps - An'Udder Birthday (TAC)
Paper - Kraft, Basic Black, YoYo Yellow, Choice Snow White
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories - Ribbon, Twine, Distress Tool, Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folder

When it's too nasty to be outside...

stay inside, keep warm, and make some cards! We are getting a fair bit of snow today, so there's no going outside!

I have a few cards to get finished, so it works out perfectly! My first card uses the Colour Throwdown Combo #72, using Wild Wasabi, Riding Hood Red, Soft Sky and Pretty in Pink. I also used the Sweet Sunday Sketch #47.

This card turned out so much better than I had expected! I haven't been using Copics for long, and wasn't sure how my colouring would look on such a large image. It is far from perfect, but I'm getting there!

Supplies
CARD ONE
Stamps - Rumball with Candle (Stamping Bella)
Paper - Wild Wasabi, Riding Hood Red, Pretty in Pink, Soft Sky, Choice Snow White, Basic Grey Eskimo Kisses
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories - Martha Stewart Punch, Granny Smith Baubles, Copics, Nestabilities

CARD TWO
Stamps - Birthday Bear (Whipper Snapper), Sentiment (Stamping Bella)
Paper - Kraft, Choice Snow White, Wild Wasabi, Taken with Teal
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories - Buttons, Linen Thread, Copics

Finding some Mojo...

I am in the midst of making a batch of cards for a friend, and trying to get all my Christmas cards completed. It is becoming more stressful as each day passes and I still don't have them done!

I did manage to get a few Thank You cards made for the order. I used the Mojo Monday sketch #116, and here is what I came up with!

This card order has been a great way for me to FINALLY start using all the hoarded ribbon and designer paper, I collected but never seemed to use!

I did flip the sketch to incorporate the large image that I had stamped!

Hopefully, I'll be back tomorrow with another card to post!

Card Supplies
Stamps - Funky Irises (Stamping Bella), Thank You Sentiments (AmyR Stamps)
Paper - Kraft, Soft Sky, Groovy Guava, Mellow Moss, Basic Grey Marrakech
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories - Groovy Guava Ribbon, Nestabilities, Copics

It's Bella Blog Hop Day!

Good morning sistahs! I hope you are having a great Saturday morning!

If you have come upon my blog, and would like to start at the beginning of the hop, go to the
Queen Bella's Blog!

For my card, I chose to use a Bella, since they are what brought me to this wonderful sistahood! I stamped Partygirlabella with Memento Tuxedo Black on to Choice
Snow White, then coloured her in with copics. The balloons were stamped a second time, then cut out, coloured and glittered!
If you've made it this far, you are in for a treat! There are 3 Gift Certificates for $100 in Bella Bucks hidden along the hop. The catch is, we aren't telling you where they are! So....leave a comment on EVERY post, so you are sure to have a chance at winning! The winners will be announced on Release Day - Monday, December 7 on the Stamping Bella Blog.

Thanks so much for hopping by! MWAH!

Head on over to My Little Creative Escape for more celebrating all things Bella!

On to the good stuff...here is my card for the Bella Birthday Challenge....the winner of this challenge will win the ENTIRE new release! (how perfect would that be!)

I stamped Phoebe Ketto on Choice Snow White paper, and coloured her in with copics. Then I sponged the edges with ink and cut her our with my Labels Nine Nestabilities. I used the Spica glitter pens on her wings, and the Clear Glaze pen on her heart. I used the October Afternoon Ducks in a Row and Joanne B's awesome Buttony Bow tutorial, and there you have it!

Hope you like it!

'Tis the Season...

for Christmas cards! My next few posts will be some Christmas cards I have been working on.

This adorable little bear is Winter Bear, from C.C. Designs. Isn't he adorable? I stamped him with Memento Tuxedo Black on Choice White cardstock, and coloured him in with copics. I wanted the image to be the focal point on this one, so I didn't use too many embellishments!

Supplies:
Stamps - Winter Bear (C.C. Designs), AmyR Stamps Christmas Sentiments
Paper - Pacific Point, Riding Hood Red, White
Accessories - Martha Stewart Punch, Nestabilities, Copics
