A New Little Someone...

Good Morning!  I have been a little slack with the blog posts this month.  December seems to be a crazy month, no matter how organized you think you are!

On November 30, my brother and sister-in-law welcomed a sweet little girl into the world.  Last weekend we had a little open house for all to meet her.  This is the card I made!

Since I had yet to complete the December SFYTT, I made sure to used it as my layout on this one!

I started by using some of my new Verve stamps I got not long ago.  The flower is from Great Friend, which I stamped numerous times onto the DP (MME Pretty Please), then cut out.  The sentiment is from Hope Blooms, which I cut out using my File Tab Die-namic.

To finish off the card, I added some doodling, and two American Crafts brads.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Enjoy!

supplies
stamps - hope blooms (verve), great friend (verve)
paper - kraft, whisper white, my minds eye pretty please
other - decorative doily die-namic (my favorite things), file tab die-namic (my favorite things)

Season's Greetings!

Good Morning!

Can you believe Christmas is only 9 days away??  December is flying by....luckily, I am done with my shopping, and just have a bit of wrapping to finish.

Stamp Fairy has some Christmas presents too....in the form of a new release!

This is Barry Countdown to Christmas 2.  I love how he is all tangled up in the lights!  He was printed on SU Whisper White cs, and coloured with copics.  I added some Smooch Illuminate to his stars, and then doodles around the edges.

The patterned paper is from the 12 Days of Christmas collection by My Minds Eye.

The sentiment is from the Warmest Wishes set, from There She Goes.  It was stamped on kraft cardstock that was cut using the File Tab Die-namic from My Favourite Things.  I also used this awesome Snowflake cut-up from The Cat's Pajamas.

On the inside, I used the Snowflake Cut-up again, as well as some of the dp.  The sentiment was stamped using the Wishing You set, from There She Goes.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Countdown to Christmas!

Can you believe it.....Christmas is only 2 weeks away??  I do love this time of year, even though it is quite busy!  We've just got a nice dusting of snow, and we'll be getting our Christmas tree this weekend.

In the theme of counting down.....Gerda has created some adorable new Barry images this week!

I started by printing Barry out onto SU Whisper White cs, then colouring him in with my copics.  After cutting him out with my oval nestabilities, I added some Stardust Stickles to his toque and Smooch Illuminate to the ornaments.

The paper is from the Twelve Days of Christmas by My Minds Eye.

On the inside of the card I used more of the dp, and punched out the sentiment with my circle nestabilities.

Make sure you stop by the Stamp Fairy Blog to check all the DT's creations out!

Stamp Fairy Birthday Blog Hop!

Good Morning!

Today, Stamp Fairy is celebrating it's FIRST birthday, and the whole Stamp Fairy Design Team is celebrating with a blog hop.  This blog hop is different from most.....everyone that completes the hop will win a prize!

There is a special release this weekend of images especially for a calendar.  That means there are 12 different images, all designed to work with the months of the year!

Make sure you leave a comment on each blog as you hop along, and grab the letter provided on each one so you can collect your prize at the end of the hop. The letters are scrambled, and after collecting them, you'll need to create the phrase.  Once you have completed the hop, left your comments, and unscrambled the phrase, email the phrase to Gerda to collect your prize!

So enough with the banter.....on to the hop!

You should have arrived here from Deanne's blog.  If you didn't, not to worry my friends, just head back to the Stamp Fairy Blog to get started.

My calendar showcases one of my favourite bears, Barry.  Obviously, I am showing you Barry's softer, romantic side with February!

I printed Barry out onto SU Whisper White cs, then coloured him in with my copics.  I added some Smooch Illuminate to his wings, and some Glossy Accents to the hearts.

The paper is Echo Park Be Mine, and the hearts were cut out using the Heart Trio Cut Up from The Cat's Pajamas.

Before you go, make sure you write down this letter:

After you write down the letter, remember to leave me a comment!

The next stop on the hop is Larissa!

Thanks for stopping by today!  Make sure to get your commenting done, and unscramble the phrase before December 31 to claim your prize!  You'll be glad you did!

Birthday Wishes...SFYTT style

Good Morning!

Some more Verve-y goodness to show you today!  This is my card for Jen's November SFYTT.  And, as usual, I am just getting it finished at the last minute....not like I have a whole month to get it done!

Last minute or not, I did get it done, as I have all year so far!

It's a good thing I am not mailing this card.....I'd get charged extra postage for sure!  It's a heavy one!

My Go-To set from Verve has to be Bloom & Grow.  I just love the flowers, and the leaves!

I started by stamping the leaves in Old Olive ink onto some SU Whisper White, and the flowers in Regal Rose, Melon Mambo, Rich Razzleberry and Elegant Eggplant ink.  Then, they were cut out using the Elegant Leaves die and the Floral Circles die.

The paper is from My Minds Eye Lime Twist Happy Go Lucky.

After getting all these panels mounted, I added some lace from KaiserCraft, then added the sentiment from Amazing Wishes.

Thanks for stopping by today!  Have a great day!

You Go Girl!

Good Evening!

I've got two sleeping kiddos, and two sleeping dogs, so I figured I'd sit down and get some blogging done!

I have actually got my cards finished for the Viva La Verve November Sketch Challenges!  The month always starts off so well....then I just don't get around to finishing!  Not this time!  I got em done!

Here is what I created for the November Week 3 sketch!

I strayed from my typical Christmas card to make this card, perfect for a little baby girl.....and I just might be meeting one soon!

I stamped this adorable giraffe, from To The Moon, onto SU Very Vanilla cs twice.  I coloured one of them with my copics, and cut the other out using my circle nestabilities.  I added a little doodling around the edges of the circle as well.  The scarf was stamped onto a piece of the dp, then cut out and mounted onto the giraffe!

The kraft panel was run through my die cutter with the Cuttlebug Seeing Spots folder.  The sentiment is part of the To The Moon set, and it was cut out using the First Place Ribbon die-namic from My Favorite Things.

The paper is from A Happy Heart by My Minds Eye.  I love the rich colours in this pack!  To finish it off, I added the Rose Red double stitched ribbon.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Challenge Week #52

Can you believe it?  This year's Christmas Card Challenge is over!!  It has been an awesome 6 months working with a great team!  I have been honoured to be a part of it!

Sadly, this is my last card as a member of Sparkle's Christmas Card Challenge Design Team.  This week, the challenge was to use Vellum.

I started by printing out this adorable Santa Bear from Anita Be Stampin.  He was coloured in using copic markers, then "fussy cut".

This fabulous layout is Jen's Deconstructed Sketch #28.  The vellum snowflake was cutout using my snowflake nestabilities, and the button was added from my stash.  The paper is all from the Twelve Days of Christmas by My Minds Eye.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.

stamps - santa bear (anita be stampin')
paper - kraft, real red, 12 days of christmas (my minds eye)

I cut her out using my nestabilities, and then doodled around the edges.  The paper I used is Crate Paper Snow Day.

This post is short....so if you are in the middle of Black Friday shopping, go ahead and get right back to it!

Have a great weekend!

Good Morning!  Hope this finds you all preparing for a great week!  For my American friends, it's a short one, with Thanksgiving just 2 days away!  Up here in the north, we just reap the benefits of your Black Friday sales, and watching football ALL DAY Thursday.  I am looking forward to the football!  As for the shopping, I'll be doing mine from in front of my computer!

I have yet another Christmas card to share with you.  This is Patches, one of the newest members of the Stamp Fairy family.

I printed Patches out onto SU Whisper White CS, and then coloured him in with my copics.  Then, I added some glossy accents to the candy cane for a little bit of shine!

The layout is pretty simple, with all the papers coming from the Cosmo Cricket Jolly by Golly line.

Something Magical About Winter

Wow!  That weekend sure did fly by!  Hope you all were able to sit down and enjoy a little of it!

This week, the challenge at the Christmas Card Challenge Blog was to use Black and White.

I started by pulling out my snowflake nestabilites and cutting the largest one out using SU Whisper White cs.  I then covered it with glue and poured on the SU Dazzling Diamonds glitter.  While that mess was drying, I pulled out Wonderful Winter Wishes, from There She Goes.

The sentiment was stamped onto some Whisper White cs that I had cut out using the File Tab Die-namic from My Favorite Things.

The paper is from Making Memories Black & White.  The layout is the Mojo Monday Sketch #215.
On the inside, I added some of the designer paper, and another sentiment from the set.

to Christmas cards! It was a short break, I know, but 'tis the season!

This card is based on the Viva La Verve November Week 1 sketch.

The paper is Ski Slope, an old pack of paper from SU! that is almost gone!  It's amazing how long it can take one to use up hoards of paper! (which actually includes selling it too!)

I finished the card off with some Real Red ribbon, and some doodling around the edges.

A Thankful Blast from the Past!

Good Morning!  Can you believe that November is half over??  It'll be Christmas before we know it!

I have taken a little break from my Christmas Cards to play in the Taylored Expressions Blast From the Past Blog Hop.  These hops are so perfect to make sure I get out that rubber that hasn't gotten much lovin' lately!

The theme this month was "thankful", and since you can't EVER have enough thank you cards...

I pulled out Summer Afternoon, which I haven't used in forever!  I coloured the image with my SU markers, in Rich Razzleberry and Lucky Limeade, then stamped it onto Kraft cardstock.  The butterfly was stamped in Melon Mambo ink.  I then cut the image out using my square nestabilities, and then traved around the edges for some detail.

I flipped the sketch to make it work for my image!   The papers I used are from the My Minds Eye Lime Twist Happy Go Lucky collection.  I am so happy with how this card turned out!  I think I'll have to make a few more of this one!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  Remember to check the list out at the end of this post, and hop through the blogs for a chance to win some TE goodies!

Have a great day!

Thanks a bunch!

Good Afternoon!

I am really, I mean really, going to try to get all the Viva La Verve sketches in this month.  I have said it many times, and it just hasn't happened.  I am going to stick to getting them done this month!

A friend asked me to make a thank you card for her, and after seeing the gorgeous Week 2 sketch for November, this is what I came up with!

I started with one of my favourite Verve sets, Bloom & Grow.  The flowers were stamped in So Saffron and More Mustard, then cut out using the Floral Circles Die, also from Verve.  The leaves were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black, then cut out using the Elegant Leaves Die.

The papers are from my SU So Saffron dsp, and Making Memories Black and White.  I added some drawn lines around some of the panels for extra detail.

Thanks for stopping by today!  Now, get out and enjoy the sunshine!

Christmas Card Challenges - Week 50

Wow....week 50!  That means there are only two more weeks in this year's Christmas Card Challenge!

This week, the challenge was to use Holly/Wreaths.  I found a gorgeous stamp I had bought last year, and hadn't seen ink.

This is Door with Wreath, a Mo Manning image from Stamping Bella.  I started by stamping the image onto SU Very Vanilla cs, then colouring it in with my copics.  I used some glossy accents and SU Dazzling Diamonds glitter to look like the snow.

The layout was kept super simple, as the image is such a standout.  The paper is from Cosmo Cricket's Mitten Weather.

Thanks for stopping by today!

stamps - door with wreath (stamping bella)

Merry Christmas!  I know it seems so early for it....but we woke up to white this morning!  It looks so pretty....but I was so not ready for it at the same time!

Along with the theme of snow, Stamp Fairy has released some more great Christmas images.

This is Lenny, and he has some Christmas Scenes for you today!

I started by printing Lenny out onto some SU Whisper White CS.  I colored it in with my copics, then added shading, and finally some glittery snow, with SU Dazzling Diamonds glitter.

The sentiment is a freebie included today!

Thanks for stopping by today.

W - Winter Sports

Good Morning!

This week, Stamp Fairy is sponsoring the ABC Christmas Challenge.  The letter is "W", and the theme is winter sports.

Since Barry appeared ready to hit the ski slopes, he is the image I went with!  I started by printing him out onto SU Whisper White cs, then colored him in with my copics.  After cutting him out with my rectangle nestabilities, I added some Sugar Sparkly Fluff so it would look like Barry was standing in the snow!

The papers are from the Cosmo Cricket Jolly by Golly line.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

He Really Does Exist!

Good Morning!  It's a chilly, but sunny Sunday morning here, and we seemed to have avoided the unnecessarily early wakeup from the kids.  Thankfully, it is Sunday, and a day of leave raking, then football should tire them out as well, and maybe a good nap could be in store!

This week we had a sketch challenge at Christmas Card Challenges.  Sketches are such a great way for me to get a card started, and finished in good time!

I decided to flip the sketch, to make it work with my image, Define Good, from the Cat's Pajamas.  I just love this little bunny!  He was stamped onto SU Whisper White cs, then coloured with copics.  I added some liquid applique to his hat, then cut him out with my rectangle nestabilities.

The papers are all from the Bo Bunny Winter Joy collection.  I love the non-traditional colours!  The sentiment was added using the File Tab Die-namic from My Favorite Things, and then I added some buttons for the final touch!

Thanks for stopping by today!

stamps - define good (the cat's pajamas)
paper - elegant eggplant, whisper white, winter joy (bo bunny)

Digital Scrapbooking Day!

Good Morning!  I'm not sure if you've heard, but today is Digital Scrapbooking Day!  If you read my blog regularly, you might have caught my post from  Wednesday, where I gave the My Memories Suite software a test run.  Seriously, if you've ever considered Digital Scrapbooking, this weekend would be a GREAT weekend to start!  Between sales and coupons,  you could get the software for next to nothing!

My DD had her photo retakes at school today, so that put me in the mood to scrap her school photos from last year!  I know, I am far behind, but again, if you read my post on Wednesday, you would know that I have now made four pages in the last five days, which is more than I have made in the last 4 years!  I'll catch up....I am determined to!

All the components from this page are from the Back to School pack.  I just LOVE how everything comes all perfectly coordinated and matching in the kits!

My layout is a Pagemaps design, from October 2011.  If you want to see some GREAT scrapbooking layouts, check out the Pagemaps site!  There are even digi templates!

Enjoy your Saturday!  May it be a scrappy one!

And I Bring You Friday...

It's just been one of those weeks!  Luckily, the weekend is near, and Stamp Fairy has a super cute new release!

This week's release is called Barry Angel.  I just love Barry!  Between him and Patches, I think I'm set!   I also decided to briefly step away from Christmas cards, and use the versatility of this stamp to make baby cards!

I started by printing Barry onto some SU Whisper White cs, then coloring him in with my copics.  I used Liquid Applique for the cloud, but I didn't heat it, as I actually liked the shiny effect it gave!  His angel wings were given a coat of glossy accents, then SU Dazzling Diamonds Glitter.  The paper is all from the My Minds Eye Lime Twist Fly A Kits collection.

I used a few strips of the DP on the inside of the card, and added some sentiments from the Verve Stamps set, To The Moon,

I couldn't only make one baby card.  What good would it be to only have a little boy card, and not a little girl one?  (Plus I was feeling especially ambitious!)

Barry was coloured and decorated exactly the same as in the previous card.  The papers are from the My Minds Eye Six by Six A Happy Heart collection.

The sentiment is from Verve Stamps To The Moon, and was cut out using the File Tab Die-namic from MFT.

The inside is the same as the boy card, however, just using the girly DP!

Since I used lots of Kraft cardstock, and I haven't entered any challenges lately, I'll drop this one into Jeannie's That's Krafty Thursday #55.

Thanks for stopping by today!  Make sure you head over to the Stamp Fairy Blog to check out all the goodies there!

Have a great day!

My Memories Software Review & a GIVEAWAY!

Good Morning!

Today's post has nothing at all to do with a card!  But please stick around, it will TOTALLY be worth the read!

Use my coupon code: STMMMS46587

I used to be a scrapbooker.  I started one for my DD when she was born, and made many pages.  When my son was born, I had full intentions of starting his scrapbook, but it never happened.  Hopefully there are more of you out there, but for me, in order to create the "perfect" page, I had to have EVERYTHING laid out and matching.  It would end up taking me hours, and the mess, and number of scraps just kept piling up!  And, once you add all your embellishments to your pages, they are so thick you can only fit a few pages into a book.  Needless to say, the last page I created for a scrapbook was in March of 2008, and my son (who was born in Feb 2009) doesn't even have a scrapbook!

This has all changed!  I received an email from My Memories, asking if I would try out the My Memories Suite 2 software and review it.  I totally jumped at the chance, because I did miss scrapbooking a lot, and I have thousands of photos that I wanted to scrap!

In a short time I was able to create three pages.  The kits are INCREDIBLE, and they leave NO MESS on your desk!

It is amazing how organized this software is.  All the kits are sorted, and everything that matches, always seems to be right there where you need it!  The best part is when you download them from My Memories, they are automatically stored within the software, so you don't have to go searching for it when you need it!

I think I might finally started getting caught up with my scrapbooking.  I hadn't touched it in so long, and was actually AGAINST digital scrapbooking at first.  Can you believe it!?  I have now officially been converted!  I've even sold all of my other scrapbooking supplies!

Now, thanks for sticking around to the end.....because if you did, it's time for some giveaways!

Would you like to WIN your own copy of My Memories Suite 2?  One lucky reader will win their own copy of this amazing software!  Here's what you need to do:

Go to the My Memories website.  Take a peek at all the kits there are.  Leave me a comment with the name of your FAVOURITE kit!  (or if you're like me, one of your favourites!  One of mine is That's What Boys Are Made of!)
I'll draw a winner one week from today, Wednesday November 9 at 9pm EST.

There is also a prize for EVERYONE!!  Use my personal code: STMMMS46587

Everyone can use this code for $10 off your My Memories Suite 2 software purchase, and $10 off a purchase from the My Memories store!  How sweet is that!

If you've been wanting to try digital scrapbooking, definitely give it a shot, I am so glad I did! It's fast, easy, and the best part, FUN!

Christmas Card Challenges - Week 48

Happy Halloween!

I had full intentions yesterday of getting this post up, but between gardening, parties and family, it just didn't happen.  So, as I sit here, mug of coffee in hand, I'll get it finished today!

The challenge at the Christmas Card Challenge Blog this week is to use Liquid Applique.  I haven't used it much at all, but I do love the effect it gives, especially with Christmas cards!

I started by using one of Heather Ellis' ADORABLE snowmen.  He was printed out onto SU Whisper White cs, then coloured with copics.  After cutting him out with my square nestabilities, I added some Glossy Accents to his scarf, and the Liquid Applique as the snow.

The paper is from the My Mind Eye Twelve Days of Christmas.  I went with a fairly simple layout, so that snowman could really shine!

Thanks for stopping by today!

supplies
stamps - snowman (digistampcharacters), snowy days (there she goes)
paper - kraft, garden green, lucky limeade, whisper white, twelve days of christmas (my minds eye)
other - nestabilities, copics, glossy accents, liquid applique

My papers are from the My Minds Eye Twelve Days of Christmas paper pack.

Make sure you check out all the rest of the DT's creations on the Stamp Fairy Blog.

Happy Holidays

Well, it certainly seems like everyone is getting in the holiday mode....be it halloween or (gasp!) Christmas!  Stamp Fairy seems to be with the latter!  This week's release is adorable!

This is Barry's Stockings.  He is my favourite teddy from Stamp Fairy!  Don't you just want to grab him and squeeze him until his stuffing comes out?? (or, maybe it's just me!)

I printed Barry out onto SU Whisper White, then colored and shaded him with my copics.  I added some Sugar Sparkly Fluff to the stocking (which I see isn't really evident in the photo!).  He was cutout with my nestabilities, and while it was still in the die, I added a border with a black marker.

My paper is from the MME 12 Days of Christmas pack....I just might actually use this whole pack this season!  (that will be a first!)

Thanks for stopping by today!  Make sure you pop over to the Stamp Fairy Blog, and check out all the other DT creations!

Blast from the Past Time!

Good Morning!

It is hard to believe that it is time for another TE Blast from the Past Blog Hop.  It seems like we just had one!  It's also almost November, which is totally crazy!

This month the challenge was Trick or Sweet.  I am not a Halloween card maker, so I obviously went with the Sweet!

I used the awesome sketch provided by Taylor, that was designed by Sankari Wegman.  My "sweet" stamp comes from the Sprinkled with Love set, my first purchase from Taylored Expressions, and still one of my favourites!  I stamped the ice cream cone three times, the first onto some SU Very Vanilla cs, then twice on two different pieces of this gorgeous dp, from My Minds Eye Six by Six A Happy Heart.  The cone was coloured using my copics.

After cutting out my cone, I traced around the edges of the nestie with a marker, then did the same with the base of the card.

To finish I added some Bella Dots.

Thanks so much for hopping by today.  Make sure you check the link below to see all the hoppers on today's Blast from the Past!

supplies
stamps - sprinkled with love (taylored expressions)

Stickers!

Good Morning!  I hope you are all enjoying a much needed weekend!

This week, the challenge at Sparkle's Christmas Card Challenge Blog, was to use stickers.  I was stuck on this one, because I thought I had just gotten rid of all the stickers I had been hoarding!  But, lucky for me, there was one left!

I used the October SFYTT for my layout.  (I have actually gotten all 10 sketches done so far!)  All the papers are from my MME 12 Days of Christmas pack.

This post is going to be super quick....there was no stamping, or colouring!

Thanks for stopping by!  Enjoy your day!

Friday Release!

Good Morning!  The beautiful sunny and warm weather we had most of last week has turned to cooler temps and lots of rain.  Luckily for me, this rainy weather means more time in the house to be doing something crafty!

It's release day again for Stamp Fairy, and I think there is Christmas on the brain right now!

This is Clementine Winter, isn't she cute?  To start my card, I began with the Mojo Monday Sketch #210 for my card.  Clementine was printed onto SU Whisper White cs, and coloured with copics.  I cut her out and mounted her onto a rectangle of Jillibean Soup Christmas Eve Chowder.  The scallops were made using my Jumbo Scallop die-namic from MFT.

Thanks for stopping by today!

supplies
stamps - clementine winter (stamp fairy)
paper - kraft, riding hood red, whisper white, jillibean soup christmas eve chowder
other - copics, nestabilities, twine, jumbo scallop die-namic (mft)

Have a "Zoo" per Day!

Happy Thursday!  This week is finally almost over....it's been a long one for me!

I had a chance to play along with the There She Goes Challenge this week, which was an awesome sketch!

Here's my take on it:

I used one of my newest TSG sets, Zoo-pendous for my card.  I started by stamping the rhinos onto SU Whisper White, then paper pieced them with some MME Lime Twist Fly a Kite dp.  The tree was also paper pieced with the same paper.  The grass is the Fresh Cut Grass Cut Ups die from The Cat's Pajamas.  I don't yet have the World's Best Stamp Set and Dies, so I used the First Place Ribbon Die-namic from MFT.

Thanks for stopping by today!

supplies
stamps - soo-pendous (there she goes)
paper - kraft, whisper white, mme lime twist fly a kite
other - copics, nestabilities, brads (su!), twine (SU!), clear glaze pen, first place ribbon die-namic (mft), fresh cut grass cut-ups die (tcp), cloud border die (tcp)

Have a Great Day - TSG124

Good Morning!  Happy Thanksgiving to my Canadian friends!

This will be a quick post....we are getting some cleaning done, then off to relax and enjoy the day with family!

The challenge this week (well last week, I'm a little late!) at There She Goes was a colour challenge - yellow, gray and a neutral.

I grabbed some paper from my MME Stella & Rose Hattie pack, and got to work!

The sentiment is from Sentimental Birthday.  I just LOVE the handwritten sentiments!  It was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black onto a circle of SU Whisper White.  I then added a hand drawn border for a little detail.  The flower is called Wild Flower, from Verve Stamps.

I added some pearls, and some white ribbon, and there you have it, a birthday card!

Thanks for stopping by!  Enjoy!

CCC45 - an inspiration

Good Morning!  Hope all my Canadian friends are enjoying a great long weekend!

This week's challenge from Sparkle's Christmas Card Challenge is an Inspiration Challenge!  This is what I came up with, based on the photo!

I started by using the Taylored Expressions Sketch #147 as my starting point.  I grabbed my Sparkle & Cheer set, and set to colouring the Christmas tree with a Lucky Limeade and Chocolate Chip marker.  Then, it was stamped onto some SU Very Vanilla cs and cut out with my oval nestabilities.  While still in the die, I sponged the edges with some Antique Linen distress ink.

The papers are from the Jillibean Soup Christmas Eve Chowder collection.  Love these papers!

For some sparkle, I added some of Taylor's Tiny Twinkles to the Christmas tree.

Thanks for stopping by today!  I'm off to enjoy some football!

supplies
stamps - sparkle & cheer (taylored expressions)
paper - lucky limeade, very vanilla, jillibean soup christmas eve chowder

Sweet Saturday...

We are in store for some FANTASTIC fall weather!  The sun is shining, and I am looking forward to spending some time outside with the kids.

While going through my files, I noticed I had made this card some time ago, and never posted it.  It was too cute to file without posting!

This is Lollipop Sophie, one of Lori Boyd's adorable Lollipops.  I added a Sugar Stick Pup to hang out with her!  The image was printed onto SU Whisper White cs, then coloured with copics.  I cut the image out using my nestabilities, then sponged around the edges with Antique Linen while the die was still in place.

The paper is from Bittersweet, by Basic Grey.

Quick post for me....it's time to get outside and cut some grass!

supplies
stamps - lollipop sophie (bld), sugar stick dog (bld)
paper - chocolate chip, purely pomegranate, whisper white, basic grey bittersweet

Better Late....

than never!  So sorry, my Friday post is so close to being Saturday!

My life is rather hectic, and when I had a few minutes to get this post done this morning, my internet wasn't working.....hence my posting now!

Today, Stamp Fairy released some ADORABLE birthday images....meet Birthday Barry!

I printed Barry out onto SU Whisper White cs, then coloured him in with my copics.  My layout is fairly CAS, and I am loving this!  The sketch is Jen's Deconstructed Sketch #21.  This is another sketch I'll be pulling out again!

The papers are from the MME Lime Twist Out of the Blue collection.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Tags!

Good Morning!  Hope ya'll are enjoying your weekend!  I am looking forward to a day spent watching football!  The weather is perfect for staying cozy inside!

This week, the challenge at Sparkle's Christmas Card Challenge Blog was to use Tags!

After checking the Viva La Verve sketch for Week 4 in September, I realized it would be perfect to combine the two!

I started by stamping the Sweet Scallop Tag onto some Very Vanilla cs.  Then, I added the {flowers}, from Merry Wishes and coloured them in with copics.  I cut the tag out using the Sweet Scallop Die.   The sentiment I added afterwards, and then tied the tag using some Melon Mambo polka dot ribbon.

The paper is from the MME 12 Days of Christmas pack.

Thanks for stopping by today!

It's release day as well at Stamp Fairy!

This little guy is one of the Christmas Kids.  You can see all the images HERE!  I decided to go with a clean and simple layout on this one, partially because I couldn't really decide how I wanted the layout to look!

I used paper from the Dashing collection, an old paper pack from Stampin Up!

Short and sweet today....have a good one!

Sunday Christmas Card....on Monday!

Good Morning!  What a great weekend!  We were lucky enough to have fabulous weather, and the kids could play outside in the sunshine both days.  I am definitely making sure we take advantage of these days, as they aren't likely to last much longer!

Since we were outside enjoying the weather, I completely forgot to get my Christmas Card Challenges post scheduled!

This week, the challenge was to use handmade flowers.

I started by using this awesome Viva La Verve Sketch, for September Week 3.  The papers are, again, all from the Crate Paper Snow Day collection.  The stamps are all part of the Merry Wishes set, from Verve Stamps.

My handmade flower was created using the Snow Day paper, and the Floral Circles dies, from Verve.

Thanks for stopping by!  Make sure you head over to the Christmas Card Challenge Blog to check out all the great handmade flowers!
